Players from the bench join in the brawl.

Storm & Manly will be fined, but will Manly be docked the 2 points as well for entering the field of play.

Yes, this is a serious question.

Doubt it. It was still time off.

I got a question - is Adam Blair meant to just stand there and cop it while Glen Stewart throws punches? And why wasn't Darcy Lussick or Brett Stewart sent as well for being 3rd man in?

Interesting...Did any Melbourne players enter the field as well? I know a few officials jumped up and started pushing people back... Well tried too. I think if they followed the rule book to the letter more than a few players and officials from each team will be in trouble. Also the clubs would be fined heavily and a few please explains thrown around ie point deductions. Will be interesting to see how this is handled.

I thought the game had restarted. Well according to Bellyache, he said he didn't see it start cause he was watching the game restart down the other end.

And they didn't get sent off because the whole incident was put on report, which basically means every one on and off the field is on report. I agree they should have been sent though.

Did the bench players actually get back onto the field to join in the brawl ?

It looked to me like it might have already spilled over the sidelines ??

minor point i know

I am not surprised Brett Stewart was first in, it was his brother in the fight.

I thought the game had restarted.

Nah, the clock hadn't restarted. Just checked my recording.

The bench players did get involved but I didn't see them cross the line.

In the youtube link I posted you can see them enter the field from the right hand side.

If a bunch of Manly players don't get rubbed out for that, I'll join you whinging Queens in a rant about how biased the NRL judiciary is.

The fight on the sideline was a bit disappointing, neither of them landed a single punch!

Haha, they were hilariously bad at throwing them, weren't they? :haha:

Still, it's been a while since we've seen a proper barney. I loved it!

I can't see points being docked, just fines, the players who came off the bench did not escalate the fight.

The outcome in my opinion will be G Stewart suspended, Lussick suspended for his role in the initial fight and the sideline fight and Blair will go for striking ( the uppercut to Lussick in the original fraccas was a beauty ).

Couldn't beleive Lyon trying to argue the second fight was Blairs fault, also the match reports are all recording Blair chasing after Stewart when clearly Stewart waited for Blair typical NSW bs.

Radio reports that all 26 on-field players were cited for the brawl. This HAS to result in suspensions; could really hurt the finals run of each team if the bans are for two weeks or more.

I don't think Blair will be playing any finals footy.

You can't just uppercut someone. Even if it was awesome.

On 2GB, they are saying the bench players didn't throw any punches & that they were dragging players apart.
