As an avid golf fan, i'd just like to congratulate Adam Scott on his win at the masters tournament at Augusta this morning.

Never before has an Australian golfer won this tournament, so it's a huge acheivement !!

Well done Adam great too see an Aussie win the US masters for once, the green jacket is the greatest prize in golf. Gotta love the media here when they win they are Queenslanders when they win they are Australian.

For years I've been dining out on the story of the day I tied with Adam Scott at the Gold Coast schoolboys event in 1995 at Burleigh Golf Course - we both shot 74.

Needless to say people are going to be hearing a LOT more about the day I shot the same score as a US Masters champ from here on, regardless of whether they're listening or not
