We have the pieces, we lack the polish, is it coaching? Or is it the players? It’s a good team, we looked heavily out coached tonight.

We never take advantage of our chances. Then will concede almost immediately. It’s been an issue for a long time. This season we’re seeing more of these types of capitulations. Some players will need to be moved on

I think it is a mix of things. Last week was so good and we hit a pressure rating no one else has hit all year, I think we ran out of gas. Geelong have been the form team all year and have planned for everything meticulously. This is their likely last shot at a flag as they are a really old team. We are still young and learning but the old timers in our side have been found out now and it is time to move beyond them. Also, three talls does not work in the modern game, we need to move away from that game plan.

Lachie Neale is a genuine gun who carries our midfield and tonight he has been bullied and beaten out of it. Ashcroft and hopefully Dunkley in will rectify that next year. Geelong got smashed in last year's prelim and have come back with a point to prove. Hopefully next year it is us, we will have the cattle to do it.

Yep. Zorko has I think literally had one touch tonight, that's pathetic. Time to move on from him, Lyons, maybe even McCarthy but not sure on that one yet, Answerth (who has been shocking) and Gardner.

Only if Daniher left. Otherwise you end up with the three talls again. Who knows, Danihers other half has just had a baby, maybe they will want to go back to Victoria. Plus Buddy is REALLY old don't forget.

Yeah he's too heavy. He has been an absolute star for the Lions for a long time but age has caught up with him. I would even think about just playing him for some key rounds next year, manage him a lot. We have a lot of young talent coming through, time to phase them in. This is why I'd kick Rich around one more year, allows them to bring in Wilmott more and more who is going to be a superstar.

He knocked out a Lions player illegally, got off on a technicality, even the AFL CEO said it was the wrong call and then...he beats Neale from the Lions by 1 vote.
