FInals are here.

Palm Beach v Keebra tomorrow or more importantly Bryant v Mozer.

At the start of the year for Tweed Bryant got the jump on Mozer and they were a great combination for the Seagulls, Bryant got them off to a great start and Mozer would come on to ice it.

Bryant is with the Titans and Mozer with the Broncos so this could be still going in 10 years time hopefully.

PBC coach is the Tweed coach and Tweed champion Maccan so he knows Mozer back to front and so does Bryant.

The big tick Bryant has with him is of course his Tweed mate and future Titan Weaver. Bryant more dynamic than Mozer but Mozer just picks away and crafts his way through games.

Mariner has been quiet this season, but in MM he stepped up and was great in the finals scoring three tries against Wynnum and then one in the final against Blackhawks so interesting to see if he can fire the next two games.

Repeat of last season's final but someone is making it this year. I think PBC too strong.

Marsden too good for Ipswich. Great comeback from Ipswich.

Stowers is 2021 Willison. Jets MM and off to Titans.

Marsden 16-10.

Bryant run, Weaver kick try.

PBC 4-0

Mozer on and posts cost him a try. Keebra instantly look better when he takes control.

Too many penalties.

Keebra’s poor discipline costs them with a ridiculous interception coming out of your own end.

10-0

Mozer too good at marker and reads Bryant going wraps him up. Smart defence.

Keebra getting monstered! Mariner too strong in defence. So well read.

PBC defence way too strong. Keebra get rubbish ball bringing it out of their own end the whole half. They had it in attacking ball for four minutes and nearly scored twice.

10 all! Keebra started the second half killing it.

Penalties turned around.

Keebra dumb forward pass. Mozer don’t give it to your mates to pass.

PBC slick, Keebra just haven’t played smart. Great width by PBC to go there knowing they would be thin post break.

Weaver and Bryant again.

Brock Priestley was great in the MM final and been great again.

Great run Mozer just couldn’t get anyone to space in support.

Bryant played excellent in that game. I thought Mozer was good but needed to take more control in terms of game management. Still did all he could to get them back in it though. The titans have done very well to get Bryant and Weaver.

Palm Beach Currumbin SHS fullback Keano Kini and Marsden SHS lock and captain Chris Faagutu are joint winners of the Justin Hodges Medal for player of the year.

Kini is with Titans and Faagutu Tigers.

FInals are here.

Palm Beach v Keebra tomorrow or more importantly Bryant v Mozer.
We really haven't had much luck with these two coast schools. Other than Payne (Keebra) they've all fucked off elsewhere, shafted us or been duds. I was never a Ben Ikin fan, but I guess he's the other success story.
