The Broncos have historically been hated. They were the first non NSW club admitted into the ARL and have been a force basically since Day 1. Even when they were bottom feeders (it wasn't that long ago) they still attracted prime time slots because fans were tuning in to see the Broncos get tuned out.

Technically the Raiders were the first non-NSW club admitted into the NSWRL, their first season was 1982

Nah, the hate comes back after winning a premiership, or at least making a grand final. Maybe a prelim for the Broncos would be enough though.
