As you say Jeb, his contribution to QLD Rugby League and aboriginal people can't be ignored, forgotten or undersold.

QUEENSLAND rugby league legend Arthur Beetson has suffered a heart attack on the Gold Coast.
Witnesses say Beetson, 66, suffered severe chest pains while riding his bike at Paradise Point about 9.15am.

Ambulance officers have been working on him for 20 minutes at the corner of Plover and Paradise Parade.

Can't find anywhere, where he had died.

But reading the above, it's not sounding good.

He was a great contribution to QLD Rugby League

As Coxy said, he b!tched about everything for over a decade.

Am a little too young to have seen Arthur Beetson play and as a broncos supporter I used to get pretty riled up about his attacks on the club. However I had the opportunity interview him on a handful of occasions through my former profession and he was always a real pleasure to deal with. Very humble.

One thing he said during an interview about eight or nine years ago really stuck with me - he predicted that in the near future we'd see a huge increase in the number of polynesian players in rugby league. He was certainly spot on......
