I'm going to put money on the Tigers today.

I have a feeling SJ will have a shocker..

We're underway with Eels facing off against the Dragons.

Both teams with early mistakes.

Given the light drizzle, could be a sign of things to come.

St. George Dragons 12
Parramatta Eels 10

A really dramatic game. Looked like the Eels would hold on, but the Dragons claimed their own goal-line drop out then Marshall led a great charge down the left hand-side that saw him score with only minutes remaining.

They need the Sea Eagles to beat Newcastle which is up next.

Newcastle 20
Manly 17

Didn't seem like Manly were taking the contest too seriously when they scored two tries back to back. It gave Newcastle a fright but a failed intercept attempt by the Sea Eagles gave them possession late in the contest and they were able to finish on top.

Eels and Knights go through.

Was surprised by how poor the Sea Eagles went. Didn't think much of DCE all tournament and their backs were poor with Saitini being all over the place.

Rabbits just running over the Storm, at the moment it's not even a contest

South Sydney 24
Melbourne 4

A comfortable win for Souths who took complete control after they scored a controversial try on half-time. It looked dodgy live but I agree with Brandy, it looked like a strip on replay.

From there, they never looked headed. Reynolds and Luke really came into their own and Melbourne had no response.

Cowboys v Panthers up next. Cows should get up here.

North Queensland Cowboys 14
Penrith Panthers 10

A sleepy contest, Penrith needed to win by 16 to be any chance but had very little cattle while Cows were happy to muck around.

Tigers v Warriors coming up. Should be a beauty.

How the hell did Vatuvei stay in there?!

4-0 Warriors.

Now the Tigers knock on from the restart.

Lucky six again call there from the Tigers. Brisbane sure didn't get that yesty.

Lawrence in the corner, this contest is so far living up to the hype.

Damn Kata has shown some good signs here in the 9s.

Scores a good try down the corner after a silly kick from Drinkwater to hand the lead back to the Warriors.

Replay shows it was legit too. Great work from the NYC Hero.

What was Simona doing?

Got chased by Lisone and the Tigers blow a good opportunity before half-time.

Then the Warriors nearly score.

That was some good set-up work for Matulino.

Tigers turning over too much possession.

Henry crosses and if the Warriors can convert, that should be game.

Warriors 18
Tigers 4

Hold the phone, SJ's kick doesn't go 10 and now Cherrington crosses on the penalty.

Warriors 18
Tigers 8

Just over 4 minutes to go.

Damn Kata scores another good try down the sideline.

Warriors 22
Tigers 8

**** this kiwi commentator pisses me off so much. Praises every NZ player like they're Jesus

That's Halligan.

Good win by the Warriors. Their backs really stood up and while it wasn't of the same class as last year, they did enough although another try would have been perfect for them.

If the Raiders win by 19+ they could knock the Warriors out in the final.

Good to see James Roberts getting amongst it with two tries.

His first was a good 'un. Don did well to race down the sideline.

Titans lead 17 to 6.

Raiders need to score 30 more points to qualify for the finals.

I think the Warriors are safe.
