Bowling options are to go with two spinners and Marsh. That leaves the side with five bowling options- two quicks and two spinners and Marsh.
I’d be keen to go with O’Keefe- he’s been the best spinner in Shield cricket for three years. He is a capable batsman too. (104 wickets at venue have come from spin- 80 pace)
O’Keefe and Lyon will have a big job to do, Australia has spun poorly in Asia since 2008- 63 wickets at an average of almost 47. Lyon 23 at 37. Batsman score way too easily against us over that time.
Lead up form has been poor, guys making their debut and players coming back from injury- this won't be an easy series. Our two worst enemies- spin and reverse swing could raise their heads.
