We've got a few of them and they're all pretty handy.

Thaiday, Parker, Te'o, Gillett and Glenn. Then for up and comers we have the likes of Lingwoodock (Admittedly, I haven't seen him, but members on here have spoken highly of him) *edit* and definitely NOT Mitch Rivett, who is a winger... and not a second rower [icon_lol1.

Do we leave it as it was last season? Do we give Gillett a crack at the No.13?

Thoughts?

Are you joking about Rivett?

We've got plenty and I'd imagine we'll see a bit of Ahern and Lui at some point too.

I'd stick with

Teo
Thaiday
Parker

Glenn and Gillett on the bench. Both capable of filling in in the backs if there's an injury too.

Did you read my post? I said I haven't seen him play but others have spoken highly of him.

Fair enough. Really hoping Gillett doesnt have 2nd season syndrome.

Are you talking about Mitch Rivett Scotty? Watched him for the Dolphins a lot this season and didn't see him play in the back row, and not sure he'd be able to play there either. Is there another one I am forgetting? (Not having a go, serious question)

Whatever we do, I don't want to see Glenn become a utility. I cannot stress that enough.

As I said, I haven't seen either play. I'm sure that I've read people on here a few times talk about him as a good prospect for us in the forwards. [icon_shru I was just trying to throw in the names of younger players, apologies that my knowledge of juniors isn't great.

Wouldn't be surprised if that did happen to be honest mate.

I'm only asking if you're joking because a lot of people have bagged Rivett out.

He's a graduate of the Scott Minto school of wingers. Tall, rangy, has a lot of heart but isn't a first grade player.

Well the only way for him to get a back row spot is to dump Teo or Parker. Only other spot I can see him start is centers. And I think he's poor out there.

Must be someone else mate. Rivett had a couple of games for the Broncos last year so I reckon you'd have seen him play. Oh well, not to worry!!

Re rivett, I think you're thinking someone else. He's a winger. And a crap one.

He's a winger? LOL wow, I was way off.

Next prospect for 2nd row, Corey Norman [icon_razz1

I missed a fair few games last season and can't remember him. eusa_think No worries though

Did you get that from the Wiki article?

Can't say I can blame you if you did.

I have seen him listed on wiki as a second rower I think, but I swear I can remember a couple of people before last season talking about him as a second rower too... unfortunately not

I know not to trust wikipedia, I've seen a few players on there who have the wrong position listed. People must just make it up as they go along.

In any case, who are out other young back rowers? And is that Lingwoodock fella actually any good?

Pretty damn good actually Scotty - injuries have just hampered him some what.

Out of our juniors I reckon Lui has the front running with former Rooster Ahern also figuring into the calculations.

Mitchell Frei is a name for the future too.

11.Gillett (Henjak said he wanted him to nail down a spot in the backrow rather than be a utility or something along those lines)
12.Thaiday
13.Parker

14.Glenn
15.Te'o

Lui, Ahern and Lingwoodock as backups. From my understanding Ahern was rated pretty highly in the last off season and was looking at a debut in round 1 possibly but injuries ruined his season. Hopefully he can get back to where he was. Lingwoodock also had massive wraps but injuries ruined his season too. He may have debuts last season but I don't think he would be quite up to first grade consistently this year. Lui impressed this year when given a go in first grade also, I really like him.
