Funny if we got Brown in to replace Bennett.

Shouldn't joke about those things though.

Gee, I see there's speculation the Cows may recruit NB. Considering his record, who in their right mind would employee this guy as a head coach? [eusa_naugh

Personally, i think the Panthers would be a good fit for Bennett (if they wanted to get rid of Elliott). i say this because Bennett has the ability to get the best out of the young players in the team and the Panthers have one of the best junior bases in the country. their reserve grade sides always seem to be challenging for the title. if Bennett went to the Panthers i reckon they would be back up the top in no time at all

I still think Benny will go to the Bulldogs.

I still dont think he will coach any team but do work in areas of league where he would be the greatest asset. [icon_pray.

St George would have won 2-3 comps since 1999 if they had a decent coach.

If Wayne Bennet coaches St George then:

-They'll attract more quality players
-Their top players would be more inclinded to stay.
-They'll be finally coached in the right direction.

True but then they will have success and I can't stand the thought of that happening.

I hope they keep Brown hehehehhe

But I would love if he does go to the dragons that they win back to back premierships - Brian Smith would just love that

WB would be a gerat fit to the Dragons. He's the one man who can really restore a sense of pride in that jersey IMO.

I'd hate for him to go there and fail because the Dragons all have their heads too far up their arses to care about playing good footy. The last thing I want to see is Bennett ending his career a broken man.

Just can't see WB coaching the Dragons. It's like...Gus coaching the Maroons.

St George still can't play.

Word on another forum is that according to the Sunday Telegraph, Benny will be named the Saints coaching co-ordinator on Wednesday. Brown will stay on in some capacity.

Now they have totally lost the plot, they should just get rid of Brown and sign WB as Head Coach.

Brown and Doust must make love to each other every night.

I am sure it'll help things down there with Wayne involved but that club needs a serious shake up, so Brown needs to go.[/quote:uoud8lmr]

I don't know how Brown still has a job with the Dragons. he has had one of the best rosters in the game and hasn't been able to win a premiership. [icon_non

Matty johns on the Sunday roast said that Mark Gasnier should be put to fullback, I think that would be a master stroke(justin hodges last year) What do you guys think about that sort of a move?

I don't think anything can help St George while Brown is still in there. The 'master stroke' would be getting a new coach immediately.
