3. Corey Parker - Was in everything tonight. Popping passes, making great try saving tackles and making some nice runs through the middle. Good return to form with the boot as well 6/6.

2. Sam Thaiday - Slammin' Sam is back. He's working very well in conjunction with Parker and made some great efforts. Really happy to see him return to form after some lean seasons.

1. Matt Gillett - Channel 9's MotM and I wouldn't be disappointed to see him receive the same recognition here. His early double gave Brisbane the early edge and his contributions late helped change the tide.

3. Gillett
2. Parker
1. Thaiday

Great contributions by everyone, Hoffman and Hunt starting to develop a bit of a combo, but Macca and Hunt are really getting it on. Only Reed was below par really...

Tough to call tonight. Some very eligible candidates, though that's a dilemma I'll take any week!

After some consideration :

3. Thaiday: Beast mode has been engaged! Love his enthusiasm. His hit ups off the restart have been awesome! Continues great efforts in defence from weeks prior, and is heavily involved in attack. He may not be the best option for captaincy, but he's proving to be a real leader this year in everything he does.

2. Gillett : Got us off to a great start and we never looked back. Tries notwithstanding, good efforts in attack and defence. Best thing I thought was that he picked his moments well. Sometimes he tries too hard to make something out of nothing, but not tonight. Do the hard yards, and the opportunities will present themselves.

1. Macca : Quality all night. Tackles by the ton, kept the defence honest with some quality darts from dummy half. Couple of kicks in play kept them guessing. Stoked to see him succeed as an 80min player.

Unlucky to miss out : Cozza. Truth be told, there was very little between my top 3, and Parker was only a hairs breadth behind them. Tough and uncompromising, leading from the front. Got his kicking straight too. Bloody legend. Now I feel guilty for not giving him any points, but he'll be back up there next week I'm sure!

tough one tonight

3- McCullough: I thought he improved again tonight, and i like that he took some added responsibility on by kicking more.
2- Gillett: a massive game from him tonight, looked dangerous in attack and hit hard in defense ... drop him to ISC immediately
1- Parker: a typical Parker performance

Thaiday was unlucky to miss out, the old Sam is back and he seams to be relishing having the weight of the captaincy off his back, but i can only give points to three players

3. McCullough: Showing a lot better decision making with his duties at dummy half, top work defensively, making quality metres in his dummy half running, thinking better placement for his kicks and using the players around him more effectively.
2. Gillett: Absolutely damaging tonight and some great efforts defensively, can't even believe there was a thread calling for him to be dropped.
1. Thaiday: This is the Thaiday I have always wanted to see, not loaded with the captaincy burden, playing where he belongs and I think probably with more consistency then I have seen from him(at least so far).

Gillett - no Gillett, nothing on the right hand side. Outstanding in attack and defence.
Thaiday - where have you been?
Parker - immense. With Thaiday, are crucial to our new found momentum.

1. Parker

3. Gillett - Has to be one of the best backrowers in the comp at the moment. He is just a machine and must be in line for an Origin run on callup at some point.

2. McCullough - Same thing. If there is a more eligible replacement for Smiths number 9 after he retires from Rep footy in the League, please stand up because I can't think of one. His quick play the balls and solid kicking game have become integral to our teams success and I can only see him improving. At the moment, he's better than Farah, he's better than Friend, he's better than Ennis. Name a first grade hooker short of Smith and McC is playing better than them.

1. Thaiday - The Man, the myth, the monster is back. Lifting the Captaincy from his shoulders has proven to be a masterstroke. Every hitup he makes, you can see the after effects in the opposition players who dare attempt to stop him.

Honorable mention: Parker - A future legend of our club and a better leader, example setter and performer in our squad, I could not pick.
