Carrigan didn’t stop all night. Strong defence and really hitting it up with pace and venom at times. So definitely a vote going to him.

HG Riki also mostly hit the line without his usual stutter step which was good to see. His kick chase was generally top shelf too, so he needs some recognition with a vote.

Then it comes down to Mam and Mariner for the last points. Mariner seemed to making really solid returns and also showing how illusive he can be with just a hint of space, but I guess it has to go to Mam. Initial feeling was that his first half was generally a bit hit and miss, but he definitely stood up in that second half. Let’s hope this sparks him back into the form of which we know he is capable.

With Carrigan, that venom that you speak of, is the ingredient that we have been missing for so long. The way he protected Walsh last week, that being pure beast mode, was a beautiful thing to see lol. I had really hoped to see it not be just a one off .. but he really is continuing to set standards.

It’s good to see him picking and choosing the time that he spits that venom out too. He isn’t over using it. He is doing it when he knows it will be the most effective.

Paddy’s agro face. Must be a really scary thing for his opposition to see that coming at them lol. For a second there, I was scared for whoever it was lol it didn’t take me very long to snap out of that tho and thought nah continue on and ****ing smash them, Paddy

He lifts the whole team

He already does so much to carry this team and he is still trying to improve himself. If he continues on with that this year, it will be hard to never not give him points. Developing a consistent and effective offload would just be icing on the cake.

Really nice leadership skills.

While Riki continues on with steady improvement every week, it’s really hard to not notice him too. The improvements he is making might seem small, but they’re so important.
