Staggs was massive for us tonight... huge amount of hitups, completely dominated Talakai, scored the first try of the night... constantly taking hit ups off the kick offs.

Goates... looked somewhat off the pace, but was soooo effective on every single hit up... set up the try after a great pass from Ezra, and made several more breaks

Billy... thought he looked a real dummy half tonight... thoroughly outplayed Paix... some nice kicks, super solid in defence and clean service all night... also didn't have any of those runs where he comes out with no plan and ends up in a cul-der-sac

Billy had his best game for us yet. Looked every bit a top tier hooker.

Oates just had a midas touch. Every time he touched the ball something good happened.

Riki and Staggs just full of fire. Arthurs not in a starting side is criminal.

Very tough this week. Settled on Staggs, Riki, Oates with Billy very unlucky to miss out.

Shout out to Piakura too, he had a great game.

Staggs, Riki and Oates for me .. with Billy improving every week. So happy for him.

Riki, Staggs and Oates. Very closely followed by Billy, Piakura and Arthars.

With players underdone both fatigue and in preparation from origin, Selwyn out and Reyno, Mam and Walshy just not quite clicking to get a win like that off the back of less usual suspects demonstrates that with that goal line defence and the players we have that at full strength we most definitely are a threat.

This was hard tonight. quite a few deserving players.

settled on.

3 - Staggs - was a beast tonight and sent a timely reminder to origin selectors not to forget about him.
2 - Oates - great return from Goates. he's such a valuable part of this team.
1 - Billy - best game for us yet. the addition of his kicking from dummy half will gives our attack another dimension and put a little doubt into the minds of the opposition.

Honourable mentions:

Arthars - he is in such good form that he'd be starting for nearly every team in this comp. unfortunately it will be hard for us to find a spot form him when our backline is fully fit.

Riki - his breakout year continues with another strong performance

Piakura - really good performance from this kid. started to show signs of why he has been so highly rated, and played some big minutes. needs to build on this.

Most of the team deserve a point after that match.

Oates: omg we missed his runs. Always getting us out of trouble too.

Riki: getting better every week. Never stops!

Staggs: back to his destructive best!

Yeah I'm not going to write anything revolutionary but anyway.

3 - Oates - We've missed the big lug, he was a giant out there and just made tough carry after tough carry and just kept swinging momentum back out way
2 - Staggs - No argument from me if anyone wants to give him the three, he was the weapon we know he can be - the fend is back!
1 - Walters - One could be forgiven for thinking we had an elite 9 out there, he was phenomenal and you could put him higher up as well and no argument from me

Honourable mention to everyone, seriously, no bad player.

Arthars - Man how good is it to have someone this good locked in as our first back up back? He's good enough to start anywhere in the league, he was excellent yet again

Piakura - Well we have something in this kid don't we! He was fantastic with great line runs, some great reads in defense and he took some tough carries, keep him in there now, at least for a few weeks

Riki - There is no question anymore, he has arrived, just consistently great now
