Spotted this in the Courier Mail. Had to post it verbatim because of their kind words about our little chum Jake.

THE Broncos have launched a huge auction to raise money for the bushfire appeal. Signed jerseys, boots and backpacks are among the items up for grabs.

Cult hero Jake Turpin has donated a pair of signed boots, and there is even something for Cronulla fans with Jack Bird’s 2017 Auckland Nines jersey up for auction.

Got to shop.broncos.com.au/auctions/ to check out the items.

I’m all for bagging the guy given his terrible on field performance but credit where it’s due, give the guy a break in this instance, he’s doing something good here.

Nice work Darius!

They should auction off Darius’ retirement. I’d chip in

Anyone know if the 2020 signed jersey are actual jerseys, or those dud team sign ones they used to do?

They are just the jerseys that you would buy from the Broncos store signed by the team.

Broncos’ players have teamed with the club to build a massive auction to raise funds for the Bushfire Relief appeal. Players such as Darius Boyd, Jack Bird Andrew McCullough and Alex Glenn have put together uniquely-personal items to help raise funds.

From the auction, 100% of profits will be donated to The Salvation Army Australia to support those affected by devastating bushfires across Australia.

Glenn has donated a signed New Zealand jersey from the 2013 Rugby League World Cup, while Boyd has handed over his official 300th NRL game jersey he played in for the Broncos last year.

McCullough has put a signed 2018 Origin Game 1 Queensland jersey up for grabs, while Bird has given his 2017 Auckland Nines Sharks’ match-worn jersey.

The Broncos have also added 10 brand new 2020 playing jerseys, which were signed by the players just this week, and all come with certificates of authenticity.

i appluad the Broncs for the time and effort and hope they raise a tonne of money for those most in need...

Still watching a bushfire in Orroral Valley myself that's destroyed homes around Breadbo....20 kilometers away from us but given the right conditions could very well pose a significant threat.

All well and good until its you that's in the firing line....

I hear the Titans are going to offer their ladder position x $10,000. Why can't the Broncos be as generous?
