Racism is believing a race is inferior to another or your own, how does stating an observation that two people look a like fit that definition?

You could maybe call it ignorant (meh, she's a public figure, all public figures are open to discussion) but I can't see how it fits racism at all.

Races, by default, have plenty of similarities. It is what it is.

Actually, racism is singling out one race and believing all members of that race have the same features, qualities and attributes. Yes, usually it is using those to imply inferiority but it doesn't have to have that component to be racism.

Look I'm not going to get too into this because I know that SF would not have meant it in a 'racist' way, but I don't like it. She looks nothing like Thaiday, literally the only similarity is their skin colour.

It clearly wasn't intended that way but it is still way to close to the wind for my liking.
