Hey guys.

Ive been considering this for a while and until I found this page I was not able to fully discuss it with Broncos fans. But heres my idea

Over in England with the EPL alot of the clubs have fan run Youtube channels that pump out video interviews of fans reactions and commentaries of a game straight after the match finishes. See Arsenal FanTV and FullTime Devils are Arsenal and Man U channels that do the same thing.

I was thinking of starting something similar up and would like to gauge everyones thoughts on this.

Broncos FanTV, BronxnationTV or River City Broncos would be some of the options of names.

There is a decent pod that is called broncos weekly. The two lads are alright but one of them is either tapping something or eating something which is a little off putting but they do a decent analysis and it's not half bad.

Come to think of it BroncosHQ TV is a good name because of this page and its already large following haha. I would be very keen to get this started up. We can organise a location at Suncorp after the game for a few of us to actually meet up and film some shit

Start off with perhaps phone camera. simply because carrying around a massive dslr would get in the way of things at the game. Any suggestions?

My suggestion would be a good video camera with a tripod so the quality of the video is good and it's not shaky.. I suppose if you don't want to carry it around at the game, you could probably contact Suncorp Stadium and see if you could leave it at the front desk and pick it up after the game.

But I suppose a phone camera would also be fine. They can film good quality video now.. My only concern would be the shakiness side of things.

Also do you know of any quiet spots to film at? There is quite a bit of background noise at the Stadium, you would need to factor that in.. Unless you have mics. That would sort out that problem straight away.

When it comes to the making of the video, I do have a suggestion.

Show an actual highlight of the game and then cut away to people's thoughts on it.

Yeah, we could upload them to the BHQ channel.

We already have a good following on there and Facebook so it would get the videos out there quicker.

Yeah I mean starting off our equipment would be pretty basic. I think at this point, for Rd 1 atleast, we'll use phones and maybe a decent camera. I have until atleast march to sort this out haha.

Yeah, unless we have decent audio equipment we would need to find a decent location. My mate and I are still ironing out initial details. I would like to get shots of the stadium in the background though.

- It suits long form better as it's simpler to engage with (i.e listening to in the car). Having to stop and watch a video would be more cumbersome, for me anyway.

- There is a better chance you will get more content up as it's just simple to achieve.

- If it goes well and you think you can pull it off, you could then start to include video content.

As an example. I consistently follow and listen to about 12-15 different podcasts. But I don't engage consistently with a single YouTube Chanel. It's about ease of access and getting good content while you don't have to be stuck in front of s screen. DO A PODCAST! I want to hear an episode with Cult and Unbreakable discussing the finer details of their relationship.

The podcast idea has been thrown up a few times now, but no one's ever taken it by the balls and gone with it.

BHQ is a great platform to build one on, you just need someone who's committed to following through on ideas and capable of organising things.
