BRONCOS HOME GAMES.

I think it's about time the Broncos listen to the fans. I have spoken to a lot of people in and out of the games about "Home Games". Most of all the people I spoke to would like to see more Saturday and Sunday afternoon home games. All we have this year is Friday night and Monday night home games. And it's all because of TV rights. Who gives a stuff about TV rights? We live here, we are more flexible than that. Nothing beats a Sunday arvo at the footy. Makes for a great weekend.

The Broncos don't get to choose when they play. They request time slots but they don't get listened to anyway

I like Fridays for now. Unless I have to move back to GC, then bring on Sundays :P

I love Friday night footy. I don't care about the richies who can afford to trek to the stadium every week.

Link didn't work for me. I'm sick of games on Friday night and would like too see more games on Saturday and Sunday, gives some other clubs that are struggling for sponsers more exposure and a Sunday afternoon game always has a far better atmosphere and crowd.

Friday night football is good but it would also be good to throw in a Sunday or two, surely the Broncs on channel 9 at 4pm would be just as good for corporate exposure as friday nights?

Haha, by the way, love the books!!

Direct all of your efforts towards David "we just bought the game" Gyngell.

Unfortunately you can't have everything. Everyone loves the extra revenue the TV rights brings which also guarantees the livelihood of most clubs (broncos are probably an exception here) and will hopefully guarantee we don't lose our top stars to other codes. Whilst a few Sunday games would be great, unless everyone is prepared to compensate lost TV revenue through more expensive seats then we will either have clubs fall by the wayside or the next generation of league stars jumping ship to rugby and/or AFL.

If I paid a billion dollars for a product, I want it to work the way I wanted.

Broncos rate on Friday night so they will always be on a Friday night! Unless the players decide to play for free I don;t think you're going to get and Saturday or Sunday arvo games at Suncorp!

I don't think people who trek to the stadium are "richies". I save during the year for my season ticket. $450 a year isn't a lot to save up for.

I love Friday night games to watch from home but I'd love to be able to go to a Saturday night game every once and a while and take my family to a Sunday game as well.

Fact is, pure and simple, the night games aren't conducive for young families to attend. I can't help wondering if that's going to impact on club support longer term, as fewer kids are brought up going to the footy.

I was brought up on a solid rugby league diet of Sunday afternoon games at QEII. So many good memories with the family. It was literally like the biggest deal ever to go to QEII and be able to brag at school the week leading up to it and on Monday.

Shame those ***** at Channel 9 couldn't give a **** about their golden goose.

That is a fantastic metaphor subsligh.

I love going to the footy on Friday nights. It's always awesome to trot down after work and get excited on the bus etc. But I don't mind the Sundays as well. The only problem there is that half the stadium has the sun beating down on it for half the game. Bloody uncomfortable.

In terms of home games, I would much prefer if the Broncos went back to honouring their fans more and coming and signing a few things after the game. There are a lot of guys out there on the field I am sure a few quick sigs between them can add up. It's not like other clubs (albeit having inferior supporter bases) aren't able to get over the side-line ad barriers.

I agree a Sunday at the footy is great. Saturday night would be great as well. Why can't Brisbane just their share of games over each day of the weekend. Friday nights are hard to get too if you don't live in the city. Channel 9 are a pain, it is all about the $$$$$ and nothing to do with the public.

If the Broncos lose a lot of matches then next year you may get your wish. Personally I would like to see them winning and playing Friday night

Making it to every home game is just a bit too hard these days compared to the view I get from the lounge. I went to the Cows game last week and I think it cost me about $120 all up with ticket 4 rums and feed of Big Rooster.
It's just not that cheap and when you add in the travel time from Wellington Point ( leave home at 6 get home around 11) it's soooo much easier to watch it in tellie.

I do like Friday night games but it's just a pain if they're every freaking home game. The atmosphere on Sunday is more relaxed too, more family orientated.
