@FOXNRL: Get comfortable @brisbanebroncos fans because we're about to show 10 hours of classic Brisbane @NRL match highlights on FS1 #NRL #Broncos

Yeah noticed this yesterday when they did the Dragons marathon, good way to ease NRL blueballs I guess.

Fucking kidding me. Foxtel broke down on Friday and won't be fixed til tomorrow.
/begin angry rant

It would have been better if it were full games, but highlights are still good.

Here's the game listing for those interested.

Round 2 1989 vs Manly
Round 17 2007 vs Titans
Round 15 1996 vs Knights
Round 12 2008 vs Eels
Round 22 2011 vs Warriors
Prelim Final 1993 vs Bulldogs
Round 1 2010 vs Cowboys
Round 14 1990 vs Raiders
Prelim Final 2006 vs Bulldogs
Round 22 2000 vs Panthers

Currently the telecast is halfway through the 1990 game and will finish with the Panthers game.

It'll then return at 11pm, so if anyone wants to Record it, set your Recorder for then.

Can someone please record this then put it on Youtube?

If we set up a Patreon for BHQ, we could buy a DV-R.

Although, I don't think it'd be wise to authorise any unofficial releases...

This has been a really fun marathon by the by. I'd completely forgotten about the Panthers 2000 game and had no idea why it was selected over say the 2002 game against Newcastle. Turns out, this was the game where Walker made a clean break, starting wagging his finger in the air and then just bombed it.

I have no other recollection of this game. I would have been stoke with this win, the Round 8 loss against Penrith broke my heart that year. I wanted a perfect season dammit!

Walker scores the try he should have had earlier supporting Lockyer back on the inside - and does everything to make sure he scores it, gently placing it down with all sorts of humility.

Walker's combination with Lockyer is severely underrated.

The 2007 game against Gold Coast, that's the only one I wanted to see.

Pissed I don't have Foxtel currently :(

BANG! Amos got fucked up!

Hodges limping off the field because of a hamstring injury... That was a common sight at that time..

The last 10 minutes of this 07 Titans game has been amazing.

Wow, never realised how close Locky came to throwing an intercept right before FT.

That was a great finish to the game.

Taylor's try and Lockyer's incredible field goal. Unbelievable stuff.

The one that stood out for me was Michael Hancock scoring in 1993 against the Dogs......metres offside but the downtown rules were a bit different back then. I think it was O'Neills 5 th tackle kick and Hancock was out wide 3-4 metres offside, races through and gets the ball off Brett Dallas's fumble after an extremely unlucky bounce...sure wouldn't stand today

That try would still stand today.

Hancock was outside the 10 and the opposition player played at the ball and didn't retain possession.

Hilder scored a try against Storm in the 2013 semi despite being offside from the kick. It was awarded because he remained outside the 10 when Slater played at the ball and dropped it.

I'm pretty sure the rule was the same back then.
