Opening up this thread to talk about Saturday night's curtain-raiser.
Manly finished top of the table but have hit some hiccups at the end of the regular season and now semis, similar to the Dragons in the NRL, whilst the Broncos finished 5th after a slow start to the season when most of our good players from last year that were still eligible for NYC were playing Qld cup. We hit back strong when a few of them returned to NYC (noteably Ben hunt) and gave the Tigers a touch up last weekend, whilst Manly lost to the 8th placed Raiders who we beat in the last regular season round.
I note Manly have a 4 players in the NYC Team of the Year and we had none, so they are a good side and it will be a tough game but there are usually always plenty of points scored in these games so worth getting along early and backing our boys on their way to hopefull back-to-back grand finals. Keiran foran will probably be back from Manly's NRL side now they are out and will add plenty to their side.
