New year, new thread!

Just to kick things off, I heard a rumour from myself that we'll be signing Will Hopoate.

Sounds like Danny Wiedler uses the same source.

If we did sign Hopa, would it be for this year or next? I can't remember when his 2 year mission started.

He's a talented player, I wouldn't be disappointed if we signed him.

Not that we necessarily need him, but I wouldn't mind it if we signed Josh Papalii!

We would have to sign his brother Jamil, who was sacked by Parramatta.

Same.

When he scores a try they NEED to play the chorus of Big Poppa!

Entertainment for the entire family.

Re: Player Movements and Rumours 2013

There aren't that many names I would be interested in in all that list. At least less than I expected.
Thurston is by far the biggest one, then there's Matt Scott, Farah, Uate, Mateo, Fulton, Bird, Carney, Lyon, Papalii, Mansour, maybe young Sam Williams or Jacob Miller...

I'd almost give my right nut for a combo Thurston/Matt Scott in 2014!

What we really need to worry about, are the players we could loose. I'd like to see us secure at least Matt Gillett, Copley, Maranta, Reed, Whitchurch, Jarrod Wallace, Kurt Baptiste and one or two of Hunt, Norman or Kahu, depending on the coming season's performance.

Re: Player Movements and Rumours 2013

Players I'd be interested in signing (aside from JT and Scott because they are amazing)

Tim Lafai
Stewart Mills
Matt McGahan
Denny Solomona
Kevin Locke
Akuila Uate
Korbin Sims
Josh Mansour
Luke Keary
Lama Tasi

So basically a lot of up and coming talent in the backs and halves. If some of those Souths kids from Logan are available, pinch them too!

Personally, I don't want to see the Broncos sign an established half, I'd rather see us take a prospect and turn them into a representative half. (aka Wallace, Walters etc.)

Partner JT in the halves after Wal is punted and Prince retires lol.

Goes good at fullback too.

We would need to play with a very good structure just like the Storm for it to be worth our while
