Just not worth it. We've got other talented players to worry about.
He may still get a go if some of these young guns we currently have don't live up to expectations.
(I am assuming he is in our top 30 squad)
That's made my day!
Good on ya, Corey. You will fit right in as a one club legend.
Big year coming for Corey
I kinda love it how dumb Corey Oates sounds. Often has a derpy smile too. A nice and harmless kind of a dumb looking/sounding bloke as opposed to so many genuine harmful idiots in the NRL.
Seems like Corey likes the seibold regime
I love Oatesy's interviews, he seems like he'd be a great bloke to have some beers with
and why hasn't he signed a deal with Uncle Toby's Oats yet.... golden opportunity
Has anyone had the thought of maybe telling Darius to pull his finger out if not
Have a massive offer for Val Holmes when he returns if he doesn't make it
He was in great form before he left last year
Val is a lock-in for the cowboys this year IMHO.
Worth a try tbf tho
Can't really think of a good thread to bring this up, so I'll do it here.
Did anyone watch the Matty Johns interview with Joey Johns last night? Was really interesting, there was a part where Matty asked him what his biggest regret was, he said he got a massive offer from the Broncos in 2000 and regrets not taking it / wonders how his career would've turned out differently.
****, could you imagine that? We could've had a Lockyer & Johns halves pairing for 7-8 seasons, in their primes.
We'd have won all the premierships! 2001 & 2002 we'd have had 1 Lockyer 6 Johns 7 Alf. Holy shmoley.
I remember watching the Roos games when Joey and Locky were the halves they didn’t really gel.
Maybe with more time they could have been lethal
Lockyer would've stayed FB and his career doesn't go the way it does IMO.
Sliding doors moment for him.
What about the 2006 spine: 9. Berrigan (Ennis injured), 7. Johns, 6. Locky, 1. Hodges (Khunt and Boyd on the wings).
Separate names with a comma.
