I think he overstates his influence tbh. He didn't do shit for Milford apart from call him fat and lazy and ended up getting a clip about that too.

Why wouldn't you sign a two year deal at Melbourne? The Broncos are at least two years away from even being competitive at this point unless something drastically changes.

He bought them all so cheaply. It's ridiculous. Most of them made their debut at storm. The player he probably spent the most on recruiting would have been Finucane when he was still a young kid at the Dogs. Josh Jackson was rated more highly there at the time.

Difference with Melbourne and here is they actually let their young blokes develop into their systems and iron out the kinks in ISC. Here, you get some fans calling for any kid who gets his name in the courier mail to be thrown into the side.

The Storm might not develop many local victorians, but they do a fine job developing talent when they get it. They dont stupidly throw any kid with a bit of hype to the wolves like we have. How they do it is exactly how to bring on players. Some people on here could do with taking note.
