Reed looks to be a Bolter for the Round 1 side.

yeah he has huge wraps on him from what i've heard.

I don't know if they are huge wraps.

Griifin said in a radio interview that The coaching staff were happy with his progress during pre season training. He has done all that has been asked of him and his work ethic has been impressive and he will get a futher chance to impress and push for selection during the trials.

His improvement from the start of season 2010 to the end of the season, was rapid. I think this was due to him securing a consistent spot in the Devils line up, and with that came a new found confidence. If he can find the same level of improvement this year on top of training full time with a NRL squad, he will be solid option without ever being a super star

He is very good defensively and works well with his outside man. From what I've seen he would be wasted as a winger.

Agree with this. He looks a classic centre IMO. Defensively excellent, and runs good lines, has good strength and seemed to link well with his winger from what I saw last year. He's a potential line breaker, rather than a finisher (though he'd do that well too).

I wouldn't mind seeing him get the left centre spot for the Broncos, but I think he's probably still behind both Beale and Copley at this stage - and probably even Glenn.

Considering he couldn't even make premiers as a youngster his rise has been stellar!

Is he a big, solid type player who relies on strength, or quick and nimble?

Edit: Just realised Coxy mentioned his use of strength.

He's 182cm and 98kg, so yeah, pretty solid.

The teams needs more Gagai.
He is playing centres for the under 20s
Hopefully his bust up with Henjak doesn't make him look elsewhere.

What bust up?

Frankly any 20yo that has a bust up with a first grade coach needs to pull his head in, regardless of who the coach is.

More to do with his manager than Gagai himself.
I can see him leaving for the Titans

Gagai must be counting on Buzz's drivel coming true...

Be interesting to see how Hodges goes in his return

What's Rothfield shitting off about now?

So Kempy still injured, poor bugger. His chance may have passed him I fear.

He reckons that Henjak will be the first coach to be sacked this season and says he won't last past round 8... [icon_drun

Jordan Kahu looks likely to be the bolter if Kemp is out

Can't wait for Hodges to get this game out the road and gain a bit of confidence.
