I reckon we'll have a tough time of it.

nah, we will kill them.

I agree Penny the Tigers currently have no centres so I can imagine either Hodges or Folau will have an awesome game.. Lockyer will play a special on Friday night as will PJ.

Tigers are one of those teams that on their day can absolutely flog you, but just as easily be absolutely shit.

They were both on the weekend. Great at times and woeful when it counted at the end of the game.

I don't think the Broncos can afford another slack first half like last week. And a win here is vital before Origin. Last thing we want is to lose and be as low as 6th going into the Origin series.

farah will make mince meat of our marker defence....lockyer will pwn their fringes....anyones game

1. Karmichael Hunt
2. Antonio Winterstein
3. Steve Michaels
4. Justin Hodges
5. Israel Folau
6. Darren Lockyer ©
7. Peter Wallace
8. Nick Kenny
9. PJ Marsh
10. Joel Clinton
11. Sam Thaiday
12. Ben Te’o
13. Corey Parker

Reserves:
14. Ashton Sims
15. Lagi Setu
16. 16 Palmer Wapau
17. Alex Glenn
18. Andrew McCullough
19. Aaron Gorrell
20. David Taylor
21. Josh McGuire

Folau is still on the wing despite his success in the centres last week, although Hodges is still in doubt so I'd imagine that if Hodges is out, he'll move there again.

Just name the whole top 25 next time Ivan lol.

I think it's obvious what needs to be done - swap Michaels with Folau, bench of Sims, Setu, Glenn and McCullough.

That's if Hodges is fit anyway.

Folau didn't play exclusively on the wing last week anyway - he was alternating between centre and wing a lot. That's a tactic I am a fan of - teams can't get settled that way. Give him a licence to roam and come up with some pet plays that make use of the fact he can alternate. It will be a massive handful for any team to defend against.

they do that currently you will notice that hodges is on the wing at some stages. that is what i like best about having our two guns on the right side.

although michaels is driving me mad on the left as a complete gap in defence.

Tigers certainly are capable of that. A lot of teams that should be shit against the Broncos seem to out-perform themselves when they play us. We still have that stigma of being the team to beat. Those same teams tend to lose in the following week.

The Broncos need to lift their game and their laziness should not be tolerated. I hope Henjak is kicking their arse and making them fix their lazy marker defense and lack of dominant tackles. Tigers are a team that have a very fast attack, and without proper marker defense we will get rolled.

Yep, with McGuire as 18th man.

If we were playing them on Sunday afternoon I'd be worried but we should account for them at night. Farrah won't be at 100% and with Hodges back in the team I think we have them covered.

Agree with Coxy - Absolutely have to win this game. With a bye the following week if we can win on friday it means we've successfully negotiated the first part of the season.

Definite must win, and to be honest, if we play at even 70%, considering their injuries, the short turnaround and our brilliance, we should be able to take them to town - but we need to play to our strengths - out muscle them with some mongrel - get McGuire in there!

There's no point talking about Michaels getting shifted as it's never gonna happen - but does anyone know why Yow Yeh got the rough end of the stick - he was okay - wasn't he?

I'd love to see Hodges play - he has this way about him doesn't he - some slight niggle (may be exaggerating) and he takes a month off - boy grit your teeth and get into it. Also, I'd wanna see Corey play himself into Origin form (but not get picked for my own pro-broncos selfish reasons, and that the Maroons will win with or without him)

Another load of tripe served up from Henjak.. He is showing that he can't make the hard decisions.... Michales and Wapau are obviosuly training well because they aren't doing anything come game day. Why name Taylor in the squad to me it is quite obvious that they will not play him unless half the team goes down injured.

I saw on bigpond TV (from nrl.com site) that Farah has concussion and may miss this weeks game

Heard that as well, but wonder whether he'd mortgage his last chance to lock origin in - cause if Mick has a blinder, he'll get the spot, and that's something I don't think Farah would risk

Farah will play.

Skandalis back for the Tigers, bit of a sentimental crowd favourite.
