I would like to see the guy stay. It's a bit of a head scratcher that they sign Gillette to a contract but don't have the cash for Oates. Who said anything about not having the cash? No-one said that. We aren't paying 700K for a winger and he won't be playing in the forwards here so cash is irrelevant.

Surely Oates would get more money as a top tier winger than a completely untested backrower. Is anyone really going to pay him good 'backrow money' before they even get a chance to see him play backrow?
