I listed all the players who managed to play rep footy on the back of their performances at halfback but let's not kid ourselves here, not only is Allan Langer the Broncos Best Halfback, he's their greatest ever player and only Darren Lockyer would challenge him for that title.

What stands out about Langer is his ability to rise to the occasion. There were countless games that were there for the taking and it would be Langer more times than not who would have the final say.

How come Ben Walker is not on the list?

It wouldn't matter anyway because Allan Langer was our best halfback and everyone will vote for him, but I'm just wondering why he wasn't on the list.

This is the most lop-sided poll ever. In my opinion, It's a shame that Langer isn't considered as an immortal. He was a legend. Absolute freak. The best halfback the Broncos have ever produced by far.

What's most concerning is the lack of quality halfbacks at the club after Langer. It's quite unbelievable that Lockyer played as good as he did from five-eighth without a decent halfback by his side.

B.Hunt is the most promising halfback since Langer. Hopefully he continues to improve and he too can become a club legend by the time he hangs up the boots.
