Did anyone else find that an incredibly painful game, it would have been great to see some football and not just reffing, plus rubbish calls to boot - how they sent of Sandow I'll never know - grrrrr

Beau champion cost us that game with Merritt open on his right side and he went himself and got held up. The refs are a bloody joke, the worst reffed match so far this year. How the titans can lay down all down on our guys but when we do it we get penalties. Then he gives us a few lame level ups and bins friend. Seriously what a joke. I was pissed off last week by how embarrassed at how we played. This week I am pissed as they tried to rob it from us and did but one of our own cost us a better lead.

Sandow is a cheap shot merchant IMO. He belongs on the streets of Redfern looking in the bins for food.

Sandow is seriously one of the most exciting players to watch week in week out - he plays 1 million miles an hour, plus he hits hard and gets hit hard, I'd rather sandow over prince or crank any day of the week

Anyway, I'm not a souths fan by any stretch but I though they were quite hard done by tonight, refs interrupted what could have been a good fame of attacking footy, cause honestly, neither team can defend atm

Sandow is exciting and frustrating at the same time. He can produce magic one moment and stuff it up in the next moment. I hope he finds form consistently and I will be happy. He just doesn't get involved enough as most halfbacks at the moment and can be kick happy at times. His defence has improved slighty. However he has a long way to go.

Titans will go nowhere this season while Bird is five-eighth, he is a lock and plays a locks game. Move him into the backrow put Campbell at 6 to give another kick option to take pressure off Prince and leave zipzip at fullback and they will go heaps better.

As for Souths as I said earlier they are boring, Lang is way past it and won't last the season. They have potentially a great forward pack but he is not playing them right nor in their right positions. DT looks like he is started the season as always slow as a wet week and looks fat and slow like here last year. Bring him off the bench. Burgess for all the hype will be a superstar but needs to forget the big hits and get in and get dirty. Their backline is crap and needs some spark.

And Twizid leave the refs out of it you got your fair share of penalties and only got back into the game when they were down to 12 men from repeated play the ball infringements (what you say they got away with all night). They were consistent all night consistently bad and with the 2 sinbinnings consistent there as well.

Of the 2 I think the Titans have the more upside, unless Souths get rid of Lang NOW.

Oh and for fark sake I thought we had seen the last of the cougar when Smith sacked Palmer, but low and behold there's his ugly mug playing the full 80 on the field for the Titans tonight.

The decision by the ref to penalise Bird when he was being held in the tackle clearly by his jersey was one of the dumbest and most obviously poor refereeing decisions I have seen in ages and worst still it led to a try to Souths. Ref was horrible both ways but more so towards the Titans they got crucified for so many nit-picky penalties and it showed again that they are a good side because they are 2-0 on the back of 2 crap performances including one where the ref really hampered them.

I was thinking about that penalty, could it be argued that the ref was penalising Bird for mucking around and holding burgess down prior to burgess grabbing his jersey? Could it be that if Bird wasn't pushing burgess down and keeping him from playing the ball there would not have been the opportunity for burgess to grab bird in the first place? But i am sure that i'm giving credit to refs who had shockers

Beau Champion was more like Beau Loser last night. Going for the hat trick trying to be the man but he put himself before his team. What a wanker. That cost Souths the game.

Ps. if Sandow is the best halfback souths have got they will struggle. ddd if you would prefer Sandow to Cronk or Prince you have no idea - Cronk is the best organiser in the game and Prince is a great leader - 2 things Chris Sandow will never be.

Couldn't agree more. Bird isn't a five-eighths asshole

Sandow's kicking game is hot and cold. Souths really need more kicking options. All Sutton has is the bomb, Wesser doesn't kick and Merritt grubbers occasionally but that's it.

Follow the Rooters lead and have someone at fullback who can kick and take the pressure off Sandow.
