Buys of 2012

I knew Idris was a terrible buy from the start.

If he didn't have the dreadlocks he wouldn't have been signed. Seriously he's crap, I'd rather Witchurch in the centres than Idris, what a waste of 500k... Lol. Lazy and hugely overrated player.

If he lost 20kg's he may be decent though.

I've no doubt the Titans throwing money at Idris was a bums on seat strategy, which they desperately need due to their financial state. At his best he can bring people through the gates, however we rarely rarely see him at his best, haven't for a few years now.

Has he improved crowd figures though?

No, which is why it's a Searle move.

Signing a 'good' team would be far more important than signing a marketing tool.

I have been pretty happy with the performances of both Andrew Everingham and Justin Hunt. Evo had a real shockers in the trial matches but when he got his chance he has really been a consistent performer ever since. Justin Hunt as well has come in when needed and handled himself very well.

Nate Myles has gone up an extra level with his work rate since going to the Titans.

Adam Sezer is the player the Titans have been needing since Matt Rogers retired to help Prince organise them around the park.

Kane Linnett has gone up another level as well since moving to the Cowboys.

Joseph Paulo has really impressed me with his good stats wth the limited time he was getting at the Eels and with Stuart coming in he might become the next Fensom, Parker or Gallen in just being a work horse stat machine.

This.

Spwn I wasn't saying it was a good signing at all, but I have no doubt the Titans had ticket sales in mind when they offered him such a big deal. It's just a Titans way of doing business.

Well nothing the Titans do surprise me, maybe they'll sign Wallace or Norman for 600k, lol.

Jamal Idris would have to be the worst buy. (IMO he is so over-rated)
Darius Boyd it looks like he doesn't want to be there.

I hope they give Gagai or Naiqama a shot at fullback, I seriously can't help but not like Boyd.

Civo has been a terrible buy so far and is just taking up space in the side.

I think I was the only person that didn't want him back.
