I don't think Tim Sheens have ever said anything worth listening to TBH. A grade noob IMO. How could it even be possible for Carney to be captain when he isn't currently in the side? Smith, Cronk, Lewis, Thaiday even Gallen well ahead of Carney. I wouldn't have thought he is captain material anyway.

Apparently Sheens was talking about Lockyer's succession as a 5/8, not as captain!

I didn't post in the first place because it was an overreaction anyway, Sheens didn't come close to suggesting he would be and the article didn't make sense, suggesting a player who is not even in the team yet might be captain when it's dead certain Smith will be the next captain.
