Ok guys and girls i was thinking about sometime soon taking up some Golf as a casual thing. Having never played before it will be purely for fun. Anyone else keen on the idea?

Um, it's up to you. Lol.

It's called social golf, not casual. Fool.

Seriously though, golf is totally rad.

It's good fun, and a great way to relax.

haha by saying Anyone else keen on the idea i was asking if anyone else was up for having a few games :P

Most people i know laugh at the idea of playing Golf.

Yeah. If you can convince my housemate to talk me into it, we'll go. I'm not major keen, but I do go sometimes.

I play all the time and am a member at Nudgee G.C here in Brissy.

If it were me, i'd go to a driving range first and see exactly what sort of shots you are capable of making.

It gets pretty embarassing/expensive to find out you suck at it after you're on the course [icon_thumbs_do

Good luck with it though, it's a great game indeed icon_thumbs_u

I agree with this comment completely. Having introduced many of my mates to the sport there is nothing worse for you, them or the others on the course for them to hold people up because they don't no there limits and then have to look for a ball, drop a ball or replay a shot very often.

I myself have played for years and seeing as I have the day off wouldn't be surprised if I head off for a round this afternoon weather permitting.

Sorry I'm not into casual things. I only want committed monogamous golfing.
