NEWS Chris Johns: bring Kevvie onto the bench

A real test of Seibolds ego here.

Nice to have some good positive news come our way too for a change [emoji106]

Speaking of gamesmanship, you have to credit Mal Meninga for completely owning us in the leadup to this match.

We started out the week as the comp's richest club, inexperienced, but with an embarrassment of burgeoning stars. By midweek, we believed the Titans had the payroll to steal Fifita, Niu, Dearden and maybe even Haas from us. And then last night his team thrashed us on our home ground so badly out own fans booed us off. Today we're demanding our coach be sacked, and wondering if any of our players are worth a pinch of shit.

How the tables have turned on us.

Seibold never took extra tuts at Harvard

I've got to give it to Kevvie, he is someone this club screwed over (depending on what you believe) RE the head coaching gig.
For Kevvie to now put all that aside and positively come out and offer the club his services shows how much he still loves this club. His passion is unrivalled and is something that no one at the club currently has. It may also help players to stay ie Fifita and possible attract some qlders ie Grant to the club.
We could do a lot worse than Kevvie.
Swallow your ego and get him there starting Monday morning.
Welcome Kev.

Welcome Kev.

just because someone didn't get a job, doesn't mean they were screwed over

Kev's wife Narelle called them a "pack of *****" for plagiarizing from his playbook.

if we actually plagiarized his play book, why would people even want him ... its not like these plays are working out really well.

and that's even assuming she is telling the truth, it's not like she is unbiased, given her husband desperately wanted the job

Nah they stole a quote from Kev’s resume, think it might’ve been the boats quote.

not the boats one ... it was the quote the kev initially stole from the All Blacks "Better Never Stops"

it was ‘better never stops’ but it’s not like it was original from him either. At any case we are in no position to be turning him down based on past grievances.

It's a pretty smart move from Kevie.

If Seibold rejects the move and the Broncos fail to go on a run then he'll get criticised for not accepting help.

If Seibold accepts the move and the Broncos do go on a run it will be because of Kevie.

And if they don't, the team was too far gone by the time Kevie got there.

If Kevvie is happy to come back and help, by all means the club should approach him.

He's a great assistant coach. He's not fit to be a head coach, but he'll always be a great assistant. Much like Neil Henry.
Didn’t you also think seibold was a good choice and that the coronavirus was going to rub crowds out for 2020/21 seasons? Maybe your judgement is a bit off.

Really it doesn’t matter if Seibold wants his help.

It’s not Seibold’s call.

He has a responsibility to the QLD side. It comes down to whether they will allow him to come onto the coaching staff.

His record speaks for itself.

But once Seibold can get rid of the rot brought in by Bennett, we’ll be all good. Surely people have to be curious on why Broncos are playing the long game and haven’t sacked him yet.

He has all the reasons in the world to be dirty with the broncos, but it is good to see that he is not like tallis and revelling in the bronco's failure (well at least publicly). Whether you support kevvie for the coaching job or not, he seems a legit good bloke.
