At least the ad specifies the new CEO should "lead this organisation to premierships on the field" amongst other things. Shame nobody thought to put that in White's KPIs.

Surely they draw up a short list of best possible candidates, and go and head hunt this rather than wack an ad on seek or an ad buried in a paper.
Maybe they are doing both, but anyone worth getting surely is already aware the position is available.
Getting any corporate type who isn't aware of this position already, is surely the wrong approach.

Funnily enough today I was chatting to my brother in law Miles Stewart who happens to be CEO of Triathlon Australia(and competed professionally and at both Commonwealth and Olympic levels) and he was laughing and then got serious and said actually that would be a great job. He loves the game but he also is a Manly supporter so I don't imagine that would go down to well if it ever even happend lol.

They are going about this the wrong way.
A job like this doesn’t need to be advertised by some corporate head hunter.
Ever since white said he was pissing off I am sure the broncos would have got plenty of enquiries and resume’s landing in their in box.
They can sort through them if they want but further anyone with half a brain who moves in rugby league circles will know who is available or would be amenable to an approach about this.
This smacks of our incompetent board trying to give themselves cover if it all turns to shit by saying ‘well we got professional recruiters to do this and took their advice blame them’
The whole exercise is a waste of money by a board to incompetent to take control themselves.
