Former Melbourne backrower Clint Newton has escaped suspension despite being found guilty of a "chicken wing" tackle while playing for Hull KR in the UK Super League.

Newton became the first player in the UK competition to be charged with the controversial manoueuvre after he was cited for making a dangerous tackle on Bradford Bulls prop Andy Lynch.

Pure coincidence - he didn't learn it there, they don't coach their players to do such things. :mrgreen:
