This gave me and my partner a great laugh over coffee this morning:

I escorted my bro in law a couple of months ago to the courthouse in Caboolture due to a traffic accident he had in the region. Needless to say, it was a real eye opener and probably unlike any other place in Australia or anywhere else in the developed world.

Credit to Russell Crowe for "the loudest voice in the room"
You know it's Crowe in the lead role but you forget it's him, he's so good with the character. Also show Fox News for what it really is. Brilliant, Rusty also has a producer credit.

Credit to finding a new job already. As always, applying for everything remotely relevant, putting out feelers everywhere, and leaning on every contact you've ever had, and I get a phone call from a guy whose designer saw my resume on a Graphic Design Facebook page and said "this is the person we need". Went in to see them yesterday, gave me the job on the spot.

It's slightly less pay for the meantime (and no car yet), but he'll review it after the first month and if I'm as good as my resume suggests, I'll be getting considerably more. Also, after driving for 2 hours every day for the last 18 years, this place is 10 minutes from home and 2 minutes from the kids' school.

Thanks those who were checking up on me too. Very stressful, especially when you get zero entitlements or severance pay (until everything is fully liquidated and even then I'll only get a %), a wife, three kids and a mortgage, though I was lucky enough to find work painting and doing general home maintenance to keep above water.
