This is the most interesting part of the summer. When is going to be the best time to declare; NSW declared on day 1 to be bowling at the end and have SA 3/3.
Across the three Shield games played at night; 8 wickets first two sessions- 14 in the third session on the opening day.
NSW lost 3-194 up to dinner then 6-68 after dinner
SA 3-3.
WA lost 3-14 from 7:24-8:24
It will evolve, but it is pretty clear that it is much harder to bat at night and being all out on dusk will be a huge advantage.
