The players certainly don't feel that way. Ask Smith or Cronk how many they've won, they won't say it with an asterix, which imo means they don't really count the "stripping of titles"

I do wonder whether they had to give their rings back? If not, well...

It's just an absolute sham this season, what a waste of a year. Who cares who wins because it means nothing, the AFL will have a field day with this disgrace of a comp. I really hope the game is decided by blatant referee cheating because it would sum up the year perfectly.

Being on PEDs is nothing like have a couple of extra players (which they developed in the first place)? Which planet are you on?
The Sharks are getting a pass because there weren't capable of winning anything while cheating, and didn't happen to knock the Broncos off the finals... is that it?

Yet they're still constantly given credit for those 2 premierships, they got all the experience and learning that comes with grand final appearances and I've yet to see one player admit they didn't actually win those finals. Even the commentators around the game constantly mention those premierships without any context, just that "fantastic team" blah blah.

And that's right, Melbourne lost everything they illegally gained, i.e Nothing they legitimately gained was lost. I don't care who they developed, that's a huge cop out excuse from a Broncos fan when we lose quality players year after year because we can't afford to keep them. I'd be happy to ditch the salary cap tomorrow, but when there's rules, and one team goes rogue, that's a hugely unfair advantage to those playing legal. Hell, even with their illegal team, in the year where they couldn't play for points, they denied legitimate teams wins and competition points.

The sharks have also been shamed, SOME players actually got real punishments (2years+), and the league community now widely refers to them as drug cheats. The Storm players and the staff, got away with absolutely zilch, not even "admitted guilt", absolute zilch. It was only constant denial and "we're hard done by" and "na na we did nothing wrong, block my ears" commentary from the entire club.

If I had it my way, the Storm would be on a reduced cap for 5 years to match the amount of time they had an advantage for, and every Sharks player involved would be getting a 2 year ban. I think both got off super lightly, except the Storm's cap cheating had far more effect than a shit **** team taking some drugs to recover quicker.

Can we just remember that the Sharks this year are clean and what happened 5 years ago has no bearing on this completely legal and clean team. If they win it will be fair and square and thoroughly deserved. If you have a problem with the punishment they received, contact the NRL and ASADA. It most certainly is not the teams fault as 98% of them had nothing to do with ancient history.
