E-Cigs / Vape thread

What tank are you using again? 5mL isn't all that much.

I’m actually on two devices now. A 5ml tank on a massive battery mod, plus a 2ml innoken endura t20 vape pen which is superior in taste at least 5 fold. Heaps less battery and e-liquid storage. The big difference is the vape pen doesn’t leak, but I have to refill it at least twice (maybe thrice) a day. Hits me in the back of the theatre nicely whilst delivering full flavour of tobacco, burnt brown sugar and delicious caramel. The ceramic core has lasted my three week without leakage.

I bought an Innoken tank setup for my eLeaf mod but it has leaked like a mother fucker since purchase.

  2. Without knowing how heavy a smoker you were it's hard to say, but on an MTL tank I'd be upping the Nic if you're struggling. There's youtubers, who've been vaping for a while, that run anywhere from 12mg to 16mg in an MTL.....but use around 4mg for a lung hit vape. If you're needing to use patches as well to control your cravings, the nic is too low IMO.

Suggestion: I'm assuming you order from vapoureyes like most of us here do? I'm not sure if you mix your own or not but go to their NZ store, order some liquid at your usual strength of 6mg that is premixed with nic......but order a smaller bottle at 12mg as well. If it hits the spot, tits. If it doesn't, you haven't wasted much money. You haven't wasted at all really as that strength could be diluted. Point is, a guy I got off cigs was a 4mg light/mid smoker. I started him on 6mg to be safe.....next batch he dropped back to 4mg and dropped it himself from there.

    I suspect the same.

I buy from a bloke/shop that specialises in vapes. He recommended I start on 8mg, at least but I pushed for 6mg. I have some nic here so I could do it myself. Maybe I’ll give it a go today on a new, small e-liq bottle I bought to try the flavour. Got a couple of them so will make a 10mg variation also. Like you say, I can always dilute afterwards.

  4. I wouldn't advertise that too much. Most vapers **** HATE shops that break the law and give us all a bad name.

I’ve since quit the patches and am on 8ml Nic with DTL and 6ml Nic with MTL (two different vape setups).

Don’t miss the ciggis, AT **** ALL! Yeh-****-hah!

I’ve finally done it and proudly know that I’ll never smoke another cancer stick in my life!

I’m going through about 8-13mls e-liquid a day which isn’t cheap but a hell of a lot cheaper than cigs.

I’m learning a lot about coils through experience. The higher the coil temp/wattage, the better the flavour, but the less longevity of the coil life. I’m absolutwly burning through them, though the ceramic coils tend to last 2-3 weeks but taste like nothing.

@Harry Sack@Harry Sack im ready to build my own. Can you help in terms of tips, hardware, procedures?

I like the tank setup and am dubious on drip tips, mostly because I don’t understand how it works and it sounds laborious.

I want to start mixing my own flavours also.

I really like tobacco with caramel/sugar and vanilla flavours.

My absolute favourite (and also the most expensive) is the Charlie’s Chalk Dust - King Bellman. This shit is immaculate and an all day vape liquid for sure.

  11. 5-10mls is about what I go through a day, it's really not expensive man.

I order from Vapoureyes (Pug Life or Heisenberg) and a litre costs $115ish-$165ish pending flavour/nic/VG mix whatever. A litre lasts me about 2 months, so 15mls ish a day I guess if I work it out backwards, $50 a month is a bargain. One day if I can be bothered wouldn't mind making up my own flavours.

That isn’t expensive, but I can’t seem to buy my flavour in bulk. That’s where I’m buying my juice, too

I was buying it locally at $32 for 60ml’s and when you factor in coils across two mods and three different tank setups, it does get expensive.

  14. Looks like you're vaping some premium stuff there. We are just in the bog standard Vapoureyes Blends.

    It’s bloody beautiful.

The Vapoureyes Ezekiel isn’t bad either, but nothing on the chalk dust

May as well enjoy it hey? I smoked port royal tobacco, purely for taste, but that shit is really expensive. If it doesn’t taste good, I wouldn’t follow through.

  17. Man it's a long discussion. Honestly, I learnt everything from youtube when it comes to building. The first thing you'll want to do is decide on an RTA (Rebuildable Tank Atomiser). There's a heap of premade coils around these days, that all you have to do is add cotton to, but tbh I've found them to be pretty hit and miss. You really want to build them from scratch which means a coil building kit that includes a coil wrapping tool of some kind. If I don't post again in a day or so, hit me up again, shattered at the moment.

Also check if there's a vape shop nearby. They may not be the go to for juice, but you can be sure they'll know how to build.

Credit to Vapoureyes.com.au. Cheapest price that I could find on Charlie’s Chalk Dust anywhere and ordered late last Thursday night, arrived first thing this morning. Bloody champions. 180mls of King Bellman and 60ml of C3 (sea salt savoury caramel and ice cream) to try out, plus new NRG GT8 and GT4 coils.

What are your favourite coils for flavour/longevity?
