Parramatta has become embroiled in a drugs drama after Kenny Edwards took a drugs test on behalf of fellow forward Kaysa Pritchard.
Just days after the club created adverse headlines relating to its Parramatta Leagues Club elections, Fairfax Media can reveal the pair have been stood down over the February 24 incident.
The test was conducted in-house and the club notified the NRL Integrity Unit as soon as it learnt Edwards stood in for Pritchard. Both players, who are already sidelined with long-term injuries, were immediately stood down.
It is understood Pritchard was concerned he would get into trouble for taking a sleeping tablet that was not issued by the club doctor. Pritchard was later made to take the test and although there were no abnormalities it was considered a fail due to the attempted switch.

What complete dickheads.
