FOOTBALL English Premier League 23/24 Discussion

Lol Newcastle trying to get Fred to get a second yellow by taking a dive.

**** off *****.

Ooooo that was a nice attempt from Weghorst.

Good save from Karius.

**** off give him a red.

He straight up grabbed him by the back of the collar and slings him to the ground because he's got the shits.

Good first half from Man United.

It's been a fast paced game. It was a pretty even contest until those two quick goals from Man United and now suddenly they are in complete control of this game.

I can't believe people are blaming Karius for Rashford's goal.

There is very little he could have done. Rashford didn't get a clean strike at the ball and if it didn't deflect he would have saved it. But as soon as he started dropping to position himself for saving the ball, it deflected off a Newcastle defenders foot and goes over him.

Can't blame him too much for that one. Very little he could have done.

I'm surprised Ten Hag hasn't taken Fred off for Sabitzer considering Fred is playing with a yellow card.

Another goal would be nice just for that extra bit of breathing room.

How many times do Newcastle need to shoulder charge our players off the ball before the ref gives a fucking yellow?

Newcastle pushing hard in this second half.

So far Man United are getting plenty of bodies in the box to stop any attempt at goal. Hopefully they stay focused.

Plenty of time for Newcastle to score two goals.

Ohhh nice attempt from Rashford but felt he should have set it up for Antony.

Antony was unmarked.

Should have passed.

Jeez Bruno.

You stuffed that one up. Should have been 3-0.

And that's game.

Fucking good shit. Ten Hag said his goal was to win silverware in his first year and he's done that. Hopefully it's not the only silverware they win this year.

Jeez these guys on the full-time show seem really deflated...

And bitter.

So apparently the Glazers might not sell and will only look for minority investment.

Share price has dropped 10% and the Financial Times are valuing the club at 1.3 billion, but the Glazers have set a price tag of 5 billion.

The Qatari investors are serious about buying, but they aren't offering what the Glazers want which is raising concerns that they won't sell.

Hopefully this shit gets sorted soon and the Glazers just fucking sell. Any scenario where they still have control of the club is bad news for Manchester United.

The Glazers are typical American parasite investors, from a financial standpoint selling the team is a bad idea for them because the value will only grow long term like it has from day 1 and they haven't even put a cent into the club to begin with, short term might say otherwise with the stock market, the issue for them would be is it worth the public pushback owning it.

They don't even live in the country it operates and never really go there either.
