We all know JYY but please don't mention his name, it makes some of us cry every time.

Best of his generation seriously?

Good first grade player on his day but not even close to the best or anything, pretty much another version of Luke Burt. Any decent winger could score the tries he scored. Had serious flaws in his game that exposed him badly in that Origin game he played.

I feel he was targeted by some after that game simply because of how badly some pumped him up and wanted him to play. He wasn't good enough and it was obvious to all except Souths fan boys and Mundine and his aboriginal buddies. At least they vanished after it.

He was the competition's highest try scorer in a side that came last- only person to ever do that. He scored 150 tires and was in terrible teams every year still scoring the most tires in 2011 and 2006 beating guys in awesome sides.

Scored 8 tries in 8 days- five v EELS and three v Raiders.

He worked hard for every try because he had no one inside him that could even catch.

You really need to do more than just watch one Origin game and judge a player.

Renouf is a shoo in, was my first favourite player. Lovely guy in real life too, met him once and got starry eyed, he said a genuine thanks for my support and offered a handshake. deadset champ.

Would be interesting to put together a best ever indigenous team. There is a plethora in the backs and some more than decent forwards but the five-eighth and hooker is a challenge. Obviously halfback is easy with JT.

 

[Renegade]

5/8th would be easy, Laurie Daley or Anthony Mundine. Early to mid 90's Lozza wins that one.

Lozza, Lyons and Prince (with JT switching to 6) have his number.
