Today confirmed my belief that Storm supporters are officially the worst in the competition. Their support base is a joke.

- $10 tees - 'fcuk gallop' being flogged at the game
- got called a ****** multiple times during the game and on the way out of the ground - did I mentioned they're also the most unoriginal?
- one tart had the hide to say we were cheating and had "bought" the referee... has the ever been a more perfect set up for one contemplating a comeback...

Sore winners and even sorer losers. _woohoo_ _woohoo_ Today was the most enjoyable day at the footy I've had as a suporter.

On the game itself - probably our best win in 5 years. So proud of the way our kids played today. It looked like a couple of veterans playing with the under 20s yet we were all over them like a rash.

And yes for those wondering AAMI Park is a complete copy of Skilled Park - only it's got green seats...

GREEN SEATS!

That totally explains the extra $100 million.

Not surprised at any of that - you can tell what they're like just from the TV - despite it all, that would have to go down as one the great games to have ever been at!

Haha, I was thinking the same thing about the new stadium looking like Skilled Park!

The shirt thing is pretty stupid. Can French Connection sue them? Lol.

BTW Steve, I saw you on TV when Inglis kicked a goal.

..

Didn't the storm end up with more penalties?

Anyways, was funny watching the supporters mope around when they knew they were going to get flogged.

I could see that dude in the photo from where I was sitting.

Overall I was actually very impressed with the Storm fans. They were keener and had more of an idea of what was going on than the Titans fans did at the GC - Canberra game I went to last year, which is surprising considering they're all Victorians who call the game 'rugby'. There were a few deadshits about, but I imagine you'd even get that at Suncorp.

And I love the new stadium, but considering how many I've been to, my opinion may not hold much weight.

Yeah I watched the Fox Sports replay but they cut most of the footage between try and goal kick...

I did spot us jumping up and down when Izzy bedazzled Billy on his way to the line icon_thumbs_u

I wonder how many fans will still turn up to games when the novelty factor wears off. At the moment it almost seems the in thing for Victorians to do is to support the Storm. Sort of a seige mentality. Everyone is against us, well **** you, cause we're Victoria and we're the sporting capital of the world. If you think you can take our teams premierships away from them and we'll take it lying down then you've got another thing coming.

Yep, it's interesting how many diehard Storm fans are showing up all over the place in defence of their team. Perhaps there's another positive of this mess...the siege mentality has galvanised support. Where people would normally go "Oh yeah, Storm, they play rugby hey?" now suddenly they're passionate about it. Hopefully it lasts.

A bit like the Broncos prayed on the "us vs them" attitude of Origin when they came in. The Broncos deliberately did things they knew would get up the nose of the NSWRL so when they came down on us the Broncos could say "look at that, NSW stepping on QLD again"...and the fans lapped it up.

I'll give credit to the people in my section. Nobody left early however apart from that the majority are uninformed douchebags. They are passionate however it doesn't mean they're intelligent.

The whole "the NRL is against us" line they keep trudging out is getting boring".

They can stick their 4000 signature petition where the sun don't shine. I don't subscribe to their argument that if they shed players/talent etc to fit under the cap that they should be allowed to compete for points this season. The punishment handed down is the ultimate deterent and it has to stand.

Broncos and Broncos fans copped the same thing from NSWRL/ARL people too ;-)
