Goooonnneeeeeeeeee.

So we have officially missed the finals for the first time in 19 years. I hope the players take a long hard look at themselves. Conceding one less try in each of the last three/4 pathetic games would have had us in with a real shot at the finals tonight but instead our pathetic defence had us in a mission impossible scenario.

Not happy. Maybe they will learn to defend in the off season! :evil:
That being said we welcome Hodges, Inglis and Hannant to the team, 3 A+ grade players so if injuries are kind to us there's no reason we can't do a hell of a lot better next year.

I think Hodge's missing for the entire season has had a huge effect on us, Hodges is the next lockyer for us, he inspires the team and everyone looks up to him. Having him this year especially while Locky has been out would have been might handy. Hannant is going to add some desperately needed fire-power in our prop rotation and Inglis will make our left hand attack threatening. The young guys will only get better.

Watch out for Gagai next year.
Wallace is a better hooker than half.
Could Wallace be rotated with Macca at 9? With Hunt playing 7?
I doubt Henjak has it in him to make such a big shift.
That said, Wallace was inspirational tonight.

All I know is Wallace is an important player for us but Hunt is a great talent and needs to play. I'm with you on this one, Wallace shifting with Macca could work. We could even try him at hooker for full time, IMO he has the game to kill it in that position and Hunt is a big talent who can play 7 well.

Is Gagai a winger? All I can see for him is Winters wing spot however Kemp will also be challenging for that so it's a tough one to crack. You could tell Wallace was suffering badly, lots of courage for him to play and put his body on the line in defence.

That's why Wallace is perfect for hooker IMO, his defence is second to none and he can be very handy in attack.

We definitely missed the Kempstar. Stuff yo yo and winter, Kemp is the best winger at our club IMO. Kemp playing outside Inglis and Yow Yeh outside Hodges is drool worthy.

Problem for Wallace is Macca will be and is so so much better at hooker than Wallace. Macca has really stood up in Lockyers absence IMO.

Was actually captain for prestigious BBC First XV rugby playing inside centre.
His head is screwed on right much like the young Karmichael Hunt when he first played first grade.

thats my old school. he was he first indigenous captain of them too.

IMO, he didn't really play brilliantly on the wing for the u20's and only really stepped up when he become fullback. but he has no chance of becoming the top grade fullback as Hoffman has been brilliant there.

I don't think there's much between the two to be honest. Kemp is a bit safer and a tad more experienced than yow yeh, but neither are top class wingers.
