OK, I'm bored (well, procrastinating). So figure I'd put the Broncos scenarios together.

This is as at the end of round 24 (and assuming Bulldogs beat Roosters).

Current position. Team (points) - remaining opponents.

1. Dragons (36) - Souths (a), Eels (h)
2. Bulldogs (36) - Warriors (h), Tigers (a)
3. Titans (34) - Tigers (h), Manly (a)
4. Storm (29) - Roosters (h), Warriors (a)
5. Manly (28) - Sharks (h), Titans (h)
6. Newcastle (28) - Raiders (a), Panthers (h)
7. Broncos (28) - Cowboys (a), Raiders (h)
8. Panthers (27) - Eels (a), Knights (a)
9. Eels (27) - Panthers (h), Dragons (a)
10. Tigers (26) - Titans (a), Bulldogs (h)
11. Cowboys (24) - Broncos (h), Roosters (a)

For Broncos to finish 4th:
1. Win both games, Manly, Newcastle AND Melbourne must lose 1 of their last 2 games.
2. Win 1 game, Manly, Newcastle and Melbourne to lose both games. Parramatta, Penrith and Tigers to lose 1 game.

For Broncos to finish 5th:
1. Win both games, Manly/Newcastle, Manly/Melbourne OR Newcastle/Melbourne to lose 1 of their last 2 games.
2. Win 1 game, Manly/Newcastle, Manly/Melbourne OR Newcastle/Melbourne to lose both games. Parramatta, Penrith and Tigers to lose 1 game.
3. Win 1 game, Manly, Melbourne and Newcastle all lose both games. Parramatta, Penrith or Tigers win both games. Two of those 3 teams lose 1 game.

For Broncos to finish 6th:
1. Win both games. Two out of Manly, Newcastle and Melbourne also win their remaining games.
2. Win 1 game. One out of Manly, Newcastle and Melbourne lose both games. Parramatta, Penrith or Tigers win 1 of their final 2 games.
3. Win 1 game. Two out of Manly, Newcastle and Melbourne lose both games. One out of Parramatta, Penrith or Tigers win both games.
4. Win 1 game. All of Manly, Newcastle and Melbourne lose both games. Two out of Parramatta, Penrith or Tigers win both games.

For Broncos to finish 7th:
1. Win both games. Manly, Newcastle, Melbourne also win both games.
2. Win 1 game. Manly, Newcastle and Melbourne all win at least 1 game. Parramatta, Penrith and Tigers all win 1 of their last 2.
3. Win 1 game. Manly, Newcastle or Melbourne lose both games. Parramatta, Penrith or Tigers win both games.
4. Win 1 game. 2 of Manly, Newcastle or Melbourne lose both games. 2 of Parramatta, Penrith and Tigers win both games.
5. Win 1 game. All of Manly, Newcastle and Melbourne lose both games. All of Parramatta, Penrith and Tigers win both games.

For Broncos to finish 8th:
1. Win 1 game. Only 1 of Parramatta, Penrith and Tigers win both games.
2. Lose both games. 1 of Parramatta, Penrith or Tigers win 1 game or more, the others lose both, and Cowboys lose 1 (to Roosters).

For Broncos to finish 9th:
1. Win 1 game. 2 out of Penrith, Parramatta and Tigers win both games.
2. Lose both games. 2 out of Penrith, Parramatta and Tigers win 1 of their last 2 games, while the other loses both.
3. Lose both games. 1 out of Penrith, Parramatta and Tigers win 1 of their last 2 games, the other 2 lose both, Cowboys win both.

For Broncos to finish 10th:
1. Lose both games. Penrith, Parramatta and Tigers all win at least 1 of their last 2.
2. Lose both games. 2 out of Penrith, Parramatta and Tigers win at least 1 of their last 2, Cowboys win both games.

For Broncos to finish 11th:
1. Lose both games. Penrith, Parramatta and Tigers all win at least 1 of their last 2 games. Cowboys win both games.

So let's be clear. Let's just win the last 2 games guys! [icon_lol1.

Feel free to tell me if any of the scenarios aren't possible due to the draw. I can't be arsed checking all of them!

That's all well and good Coxy....but I'm more interested in what is needed to keep Parra out of the 8!

Hahaha, seconded.

1. Jarryd Hayne to be suspended :P

AND/OR

1. Parramatta win 1 game. Penrith or Tigers win both.
2. Parramatta win 1 game. Penrith wins 1 game, Tigers win no more than 1 game. Penrith's for and against vs Parramatta's doesn't change more than 5 points.
3. Parramatta win 1 game. Penrith lose both, Tigers win both.
4. Parramatta lose both games. Penrith or Tigers win 1 game.
5. Parramatta lose both games. Penrith and Tigers lose both, Cowboys win both.
6. Parramatta lose both games. Penrith and Tigers lose both, Cowboys lose 1, and Penrith lose by less than 5 points more than Parramatta do.

Hmmm, forgot draws:
7. Parramatta and Penrith draw. Penrith win vs Newcastle. Parra lose vs Dragons.
8. Parramatta and Penrith draw. Parramatta lose to the Dragons. Penrith lose to Newcastle by no more than 5 points more than Eels lose to Dragons.
9. Parramatta and Penrith draw. Parramatta defeat Dragons. Penrith defeat Knights by no more than 5 less than Parra def Dragons. And Broncos win both games, and Newcastle and Manly win at least 1 of their remaining games.

Thank you Coxy, that's so much clearer now....I'll just death ride them to lose both games and hope for the best!

I haven't seen the incident - is he likely to be suspended? I will seriously become a church going, god fearing, commit my life to Jesus christ woman if he does.

Jarryd Hayne faces an anxious wait with the NRL's match review committee requesting additional television footage to determine if the Parramatta fullback dropped a forearm on Wests Tigers backrower Gareth Ellis.

That comes as Eels chief executive Paul Osborne confirmed he had approached the NRL last week over concerns his star player could be targeted by rugby union and that he has suspended all contract talks until the end of the season.

Tigers coach Tim Sheens said he was aware of something happening between Hayne and Ellis following the Tigers' loss to the Eels at the SFS even though both players later downplayed the incident.

I think us finishing 6th and playing at Skilled would work well for us. I'd prefer that than 5th at Olympic Park.

Fark!

On the up side, at least I don't have to become a church going, god fearing, commit my life to Jesus Christ type woman!

Word on the street is Inglis will play finals football.

With that in mind -

Titans @ Skilled or Storm @ Melb?

I'd take the Titans IF INGLIS PLAYS.

Taking on the Dogs/Dragons does not sound good but I'll take the Dogs at ANZ.

Doubt the Tits will play finals at Skilled. NRL will move it to Suncorp, especially if they play us.

Even better for the Broncos..

I think their home week 1 final will be played at skilled. but if they earn a home region final in week 2 it will be played at Lang Park

Yeh I agree if Melbourne play their week 1 finals games at Olympic Park instead of Telstra Dome, there is no way they'll shift the Titans to Lang Park.

Hmmm...good point.

They'd be mad not to though, it would be a sellout.

it would be a sell out at skilled too [icon_razz1 but on a serious note, i think it would be unfair to move their home final away from skilled park, the have earned the right for the game to be played at their fortress

NRL gets all the revenue from the finals so I expect they'd have some say.
