RUGBY league legend Brad Fittler was involved in a drunken incident trying to gain access to the wrong hotel room while half-naked in Queensland early yesterday.

A female occupant phoned police after finding the heavily intoxicated Sydney Roosters coach banging on the door to her room at the Townsville Holiday Inn about 3am.

To be fair, if I was coaching the Roosters I'd hit the bottle too.

Rather amusing that he is getting stinking drunk while the players can't drink until the day after a game. Do as I say.... [icon_lol1.

Steve Noyce was just on 2GB talking about the issue. Doesnt seemed as he was too impressed about what has gone on. Pretty much said that he was disappointed and that Brad should be embarrassed and he no doubt is.

Not that it's entirely relevant to the issue, but haven't the roosters changed their alcohol policy from the 'no alcohol until the day after a game'? I was sure that was lifted a little while back.
