@broncospwn and @Harry Sack twisted my arm. I have a whopping 1 kill from about 10 games.
Bestest meat shield.
i agree ... i would love to see the next one based in either Japan or China
Would any of you EB games regulars be able to gve me some idea how much trade credit they’d give me for my copy of Red Dead 2 on PS4?
Only guessing but in the 30's I think.
I'd say in the 20's. It's dropped down in price because of the clearance sale going on now.
I waited too long to take advantage of the Far Cry New Dawn $1 trade deal because now most of my games have dropped in value due to the clearance sale. The others that I can trade, I don't want to trade.
Righto. Thanks guys. Thinking of trading for God of War. Looks like a good single player story.
Bought Call of Duty WWII.
At first when I started it I was like am I playing a game or watching a movie? It looks so real.
Call of Duty WWII.
Yeah they dropped the ball with this one, it’s just not that good. After giving us World At War which was just brilliant, I was expecting this one to be just as good or even better. However, they did not deliver which is quite strange because the World War 2 games were their best games.
Unfortunately, it’s not that good and I still maintain that Call of Duty just hasn’t been the same since World At War.
After playing the main quest of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey again, I do feel like it actually could have been better.
It's still a brilliant game and it's still a very good storyline. It takes what all of the other titles have been about and put them all into one game. Redemption, revenge, justice, answers, freedom, glory, betrayal, love, family, beginnings.
However, I do feel the main storyline could have been a bit more action packed. You are a mercenary after all.
I've been getting stuck back into Red Dead Redemption 2.
I have to say, I love the fact the developers put in that little extra effort when it came to the hunting. They could have easily made it very basic like in Assassin's Creed but they decided they wanted it to be more realistic. Those little things really do make a difference.
The first time I went hunting in the game, I went looking for a Rocky Mountain Elk and I shot it with the Springfield rifle but at the last second it moved it's head and I ended up shooting in the throat. It ran off but I could see it further ahead struggling to try to get up and run, crying out in pain. I ended up shooting it again to put it out of it's misery which ruined the pelt. Not sure if waiting for it to bleed out would preserve the pelt, I haven't tried that.
I also like the fact that they can smell your scent if you get too close and you have to move slowly and quietly otherwise they will hear you and run away.
I've been playing Hollow Knight lately. I heard a sequel was announced and I decided to try the first. It's really fun, a damn good game. Controls are pretty much perfect, interesting world, fantastic soundtrack, excellent bosses. One of the better Metroidvania games I've played so far (12 hours in, maybe 1/3rd of the content so far?), right up there with Castlevania SOTN.
Agreed, a terrific game. Can get bloody hard though!
I haven't had too much trouble yet, and I guess that's where the excellent responsive controls come in. Something like La Mulana, despite also being a great game, frustrated me with it's much more sluggish controls that cost me a large number of times.
Is anyone else playing RDR2 at the moment?
If so, have you been experiencing lag after the latest update? Mine’s been lagging ever since the update.
There's a boss fight later in the game that will send you insane. I was so pumped when I finally beat it.
You're right about the controls, they're spot on Whenever you die, you know it was your own fault and you've just got to get better.
It's a super impressive game, made by only a couple of blokes from Adelaide.
Is it the **** Watcher Knights? That's where I got up to today before decided to give it up. I've gotten to just 2 left a few times but then I panic and just can't avoid their movement patterns (one jumping, one rolling).
That's the ones. I must have died 50 times to those bastards. I could do the trek back from the save point with my eyes closed.
@Nashy @broncospwn @Harry Sack
Is it any good and have you guys spent any money on it? Like can you play without buying in game stuff? I’m thinking of getting into it.
Yeah get it.
