I find the decision to appoint Gee to conduct an operational review at this time of the season somewhat puzzling. Usually reviews are conducted post season and we apparently had one after the end of the last season. Are there things or issues going on behind the scenes that have not become public yet. Once again Bruno has been obsfucating as to what the limits of the review are and exactly what is being reviewed. In the CM today he said it does not involve football operations??? I hope that does not mean that he is not looking at the issue of recruiting because that is one area in which a review is needed IMO. Does anyone have any insight or speculation as to what is going on?

Maybe it's just a case of, we need to be seen to be doing something.

Fair enough, but... Andrew Gee? Shouldn't reviews be conducted by impartial parties, or at least somewhat qualified ones?

Andrew Gee was football manager for a while. He knows a bit about how a team should be run and looked after.

I think he means more from a conflict of interest point of view.
Andrew Gee might be mates with some parts of the Broncos and might give a biased review.
I don't think much will come from the review as a poster above said I think it's more just a make it look like we're doing something than an actual review.

He should stick to reviewing the buffet me thinks!

Maybe he was starting to complain about being bored, so they sent him off on this little made up task.

I think the whole thing is a Gee up.

I heard Gee-Unit was in town.

Beaut.

I know this comes up every time we talk about Gee - but my memory of Gee is that game down in Newcastle where he chucks a 40/20 and casually strolls to the scrum like he does them every day. Would love some footage of it if there is clip out there on the net!!!

Gee is coming back to the club as Football Operations Manager. It is pretty standard for a new Operations Manager coming in to do a review.

In light of todays events I think we all know now why the review of all operations has come about, being a news owned club im sure the clubs directors were tipped off to make sure they protect the clubs image...

Indeed.

Though if the Broncos were systematically rorting the salary cap I'd be punching Bruno in the head given how many good players we've let go in the last 5 years! :P

[icon_lol1. [icon_lol1.

For once no suspicion is cast our way!!

Lol yep, if our managers are cheating they're doing a seriously bad job of it! [icon_lol1.

makes sense though now doesn't it, how many top quality, top earning players we've lost over the last 5 years compared to the storm.

Maybe big Gee is the new CEO doing some training
