Goal Kicking

My comment last night got tongues (or keyboards?) wagging so I thought I'd give this it's own thread.

Who should be our goal kicker?

Stick with C. Parker?

Go with Wallace who impressed with his stint at the back end?

Go with Prince who's always been very handy through out his career?

Or go completely left field with somebody like Hunt, Norman, Berryman or Thaiday even?

Not Parker, that's for sure. He's very mediocre by today's standards and has no consistency. He'll get 7/7 one week and 1/5 the next, missing goals an NRL kicker should be making. I think Wallace is the most consistent -- he kicks the one he should kick and generally his misses are the ones from out wide. Parker definitely misses kicks he should be hitting. No real issue with Prince but think Wallace is more consistent.

That assumes Wallace makes the team of course. I've no fundemental objections if Norman and Prince are our halves.

Yes ....it'll be a bit hard for ole Wal to be kicking when he just might be sitting on the bench. Besides that I doubt his troublesome groin would be able to take a full season of having the goal kicking duties.

I'd give it to Prince.......and give Parker a break for a while.
