He was a fantastic footballer to watch. Shame he is such a fuckwit to listen to.......
 
I don't know the guy personally so none of his comments offend me. Just because he chooses to occasionally criticize Bennett and the Broncos shouldn't have any effect on any fan. He is just another analyst/journo these days and if his comments piss you off, then just ignore him. He is a Bronco legend and a Hall of Famer and a pretty decent analyst and that's what I'll remember him as. He just likes to get under the skin of some fans knowing how easy it is to achieve.

Ive heard off an ex player the beef is put on. Makes sense, it gets tallis popularity and a spot in the sydney based media. He totally changes his tune on queensland shows compared to nsw based shows so it matches up.

But I still laughed when you said “pretty decent analyst” lol.. even if all the above is true, he’s hardly an astute judge of the game....

At the height of his career with us he was the best backrower in the comp.

It doesn't matter what we think. Fox Sports and Triple M consider him an integral part of their team and willing to pay him good money for it. His opinions don't phase me. I agree with some, others I don't. He is still the best backrower I've ever seen. The rest means nothing to me.

He occasionally criticises Bennett in much the same way as El Trump occasionally tweets - relentlessly and without any logical reason.

A former captain and legend of the this that constantly bags it and tries to debatablise it means a fair bit to me. Not one person has questioned him as a player so why you keep saying this is beyond me. I’m glad it means nothing to you but it means plenty to me and from what I can see it means something to others too.

Oh, and the fact that Triple M and Fox pay him means nothing. These are the same halfwits that pay Buzz Rothfield et al so it shows where there standards are.
