Hayne v Payne

Hayne denied throwing a headbutt and was stunned that he copped the same fate as Payne - a stint in the bin and being placed on report.

''It wasn't that I headbutted him, I just came face to face with him. I can't see why I got 10 minutes. He actually threw a punch and acted aggressively. If someone calls you a dog you've got to front up to them. He did his thing, his forearm then hit me - and what I've done is gone face to face with him and I get 10 minutes in the bin as well … That's all I did. He throws a punch and gets the same treatment I got. I wasn't too impressed.''

Is this an eye gouge

**** Hayne's an idiot. And I think this stems back to the fact he wasn't suspended for this same incident with Slater last year.

I'd give him 6 weeks. 2 weeks for the "face to face" and 4 weeks for stupidity.

I think Ennis could well have said something about his family. And Hindmarsh is laying the blame on himself in a show of "what happens on the field stays on the field". And Hindmarsh is right - no matter what shit Ennis said, he shouldn't have reacted.

Ennis is a **** though. One day he's going to say something and he's going to have to retrieve his nose out of his arse.

Do you really think Ennis is going to admit the said something about a child.

He is a gutless wonder.

Of course he wouldn't. But do you really think that Hindmarsh would PROTECT Ennis if something was said about his own child?

I don't think he would protect Ennis, but I definitely believe that he would keep things quiet to protect his family. Say, for example, Ennis did say something about one of his kids who is sick. If Hindmarsh comes out and tells the whole world, then all the media attention will be on him and his family.

You talk about Ennis as if you're great fucking mates and you know him like a brother. Deadset, you're a clown sometimes.

Just because you explaoned your opinion doesnt make you right. Just about everybody else on the forum disagrees with u and, think you are being biased.

How about we ask ashley klein he was pretty close to it.

Rocky keep the name callling out of it or your blue arse will be inthe bin....

What paint have you been sniffing? It'll always be a biased opinion because it's Ennis, I even said that! LOLZ. But I think it's right, that's what an opinion is about and I've explained my reasons.

Geez you Queenslanders get dumber by the year.[/quote:3jk1kdri]

All that post origin victory drinking gets to us after 5 straight years :p

Not so dumb as to defend Ennis. Or to support the Blues.

And your posts get dumber every year [icon_razz1

Next you'll say that Hayne had a nervous tic and couldnt help that his head came in contact with Payne's

Piss off. Unless you're going to add to the thread, then take a hike. Despite my bias towards my 2nd Lover Michael Ennis, I'm at least putting forward valid arguments and explaining my reasons. You're just being a floater. I hate floaters.
Sorry mate, but more than valid arguments, it sounds like wishfull thinking...
Ennis being Ennis, and Hindy being Hindy (one of the only blues I actually like), logic says the sledge was way worse than what has been reported. It's a much more credible assumption than yours.

But unless someone has the inside scoop, no one can say anything with any certainty.

Given that Hindmarsh was pretty much ready to go at Ennis while he was on his way to the bin and Klein had to step in, you would think it was more that just a "Yo mamas so fat..." style sledge.

From the reactions on the field I would have to agree but its pure speculation. Obviously Hindmarsh isnt going to take "anything" further.

Just a quick question, did anyone else find it awesome when Ennis stirred up Slater in THAT semi final?

Like I said, Hindmarsh has lost his cool out of character on a few occasions in the past 2 years. Is it really out of character any more? Not only that but he's a bit bitch now, always whinging like a sook. He's lost his spark as the "good guy" now he's just an over-rated hack who could never make it in rep level, years of frustration build up I reckon. His on-field persona is definitely not the same as it used to be. Therefore it wouldn't surprise me if Hindy did over-react.
Seriously, take a minute to actually read this again, and if you don't see the desperation and bias towards Ennis, you really must be lovers! [icon_lol1.

Mate no-one is saying anything with absolute certainty. People are simply basing their opinions on the likelihood of something happening, ie:

The likelihood of Ennis going overboard with a sledge.
vs
The likelihood of Hindmarsh overreacting to a comment that he must hear at least 3 times a week.

To me (and everyone else), it seems pretty clear cut one way. For you, it's obviously clear the other way.

Are you for real Rocky... You're actually trying to compare both player's history? [eusa_doh

Like it or not, credibility is on Hindy’s side, and he’s the one I and most other people would give the benefit of the doubt… [icon_shru
Now ask yourself why you're so desperatly taking Ennis defense... [icon_wink
