Hayne v Payne

No the wow is Ennis getting punched by a smaller player.

And where did I mention anything about Gallen.

Maybe Ennis isn't a grub, a complete asshole is more fitting.

Yep. Arsehole, pest, smartarse... but save the 'grub' tag for players that have earnt it.
Ennis has made an art out of putting blokes off their game with sledges, not trying to rattle them with dirty contact.

You forgot "a big girl's blouse".

Not if you consider physical abuse as bad as verbal abuse, which I do.

Okay, so in your eyes, there's no difference between, say, Ennis calling Hindmarsh a has-been, and Gallen tearing out Laffranchi's stitches?
Nope, there are degrees of physical abuse as there are degrees of verbal abuse.
I don't consider there's any difference between calling anyone a has-been and shoving their face in the dirt during a tackle.
Pulling stiches would be compared to much worse sledging, like being seriously abusive to your kids or family.

Physical abuse is much worse on a football field IMO. Verbal abuse, big deal why should hindmarsh care about what Ennis has to say??

What if someone said something about Zach that was offensive? Something absolutely horrible?

You'd want to kill the prick.

What happens on the field stays on the field.... :P

I wouldn't be happy but I am not a killer nor am I violent, I'd get them back in my own way. A sledge get retaliated by a sledge IMO.

High adrenalin sport though Beads and it was at a heated moment in the game. I know you say you wouldn't hit him, but it wouldn't surprise me if your emotions got the better of you in that situation. Like Hindy's did. Anyway I don't think there's a need to discuss that any further.

Nevertheless Ennis must really get to people... I mean CIVO blew up at him remember?... crazy. I must say I don't think he would go that low... in terms of having a go at family... he's probably just a pest and he's probably in your ear all game...

Luke O'Donnell didn't get very long on the sidelines for his headbutt and it was worse imo.
But is there a bigger spanner than Jarryd Hayne? Seriously? He was on track for a sublime man of the match performance being the big hero and ended up costing his team the game.

Phil Gould gave him a fair spray on the Sunday Roast yesterday. Basically said he doesn't even see him as an Origin standard player simply because of his attitude.

Hard to argue. The guy is going to be a wasted talent unless someone picks him up by the collar, shakes him around, throws him against the wall and shouts some hard truths into his face.

Bit of a shame Dugan is injured. I'd have picked Dugan at fullback and Hayne on the wing. There's no doubt Hayne's best performances for NSW have been on the wing, and he doesn't have the mental strength to play fullback at that level.

IMO.

Yeah Phil Gould's opinion was really fascinating on the Roast. I was surprised to hear he'd never even spoken to him. Maybe he should, it's a shame to see such talent go to waste.

It's quite funny. The way Gould talks about anything, everything, anyone, everyone you'd think he knows everyone intimately. But in just 6 months he's said he's never really spoken to Wayne Bennett, never really spoken to Darren Lockyer, never really spoken to Jarryd Hayne...

In reality he's not much beyond you or me. He watches the game, observes it, but really has no connection within it anymore.

It puts a lot of his opinions into perspective IMO.

Although Hindmarsh is refusing to reveal Ennis's sledge, Parramatta players claim the Bulldogs hooker referred to Hindmarsh's family.

The players must be lying, Ennis wouldn't mention family. [icon_razz1

So NOW you believe the media. [icon_razz1
Apparently the judiciary are going to ask Hindmarsh what Ennis really said. I guess we'll get the full story then.
